What did you do to your Ranger today?

With family (wife, son & self), pulling my Civic on the car trailer and most of the load (tools, strapbox, ramps on the trailer with the Civic along with putting the roof rack and bike on the Civic instead of the Ranger... my payload remaining is estimated to be under 100lb. I'll be honest, my wife, son and I could stand to be a collective 200lb less than we are, I'm not brave enough to say where xlb can be lost.

congratulations, your concerns are valid! Wow, in not surehow confident I would be pulling all that withmy truck, but it makes me happy that it is capable!

planned to change oil today. got the 5g out of the garage, 15 mm wrench, a couple sockets and my favorite ratchet. got the creeper, filter wrench a few paper towels and put the truck up on ramps. spent the next 2 hours trying to find the jug of oil and filter that i bought months ago... tore the place apart. thought maybe im just slipping, already changed and forgot. nope. truck says 30% life left. oil looks about ready to change on the stick. found a quart of mobil one new where the big jug of mobil one and new filter were supposed to be. new cheap o oil and filter that i use in the 4g right next to the single quart of mobil one. i guess an oil thief that only likes name brand oil is on the loose.

This happens to me every time I login to 5g ...

Installed the CTEK leads onto the truck following @AzScorpion's pictures. When he said the ground bolt will clear, he wasn't kidding. You have to open the latch to whatever that thing is and, as he said, don't drop the bolt!

Then I ran the wire (8' for was more than enough) to the intercooler opening, holding it in a few places with zip ties.

It'll hang down below the opening to stay out of site but still easy to grab and plug in.

The little silicone dirt cap will come off the short lead and fit onto the extension lead. It's a tight fit and I thought it would tear but it's okay.

Tried to cover little scars from one of my discovery trips. On time there will be more scratches, but at the moment they are very visible without hiding.
Colour also got a little scratch but not on noticeable place.

Not sure what you used but seems to have done a great job.

I like that tailgate spoiler. I may add one to use as a handle while opening/closing the tailgate. Need to figure out if it will fit under my RetraxPro XR cover.

Do you think the 3M tape will hold ?

I couldn't take looking at the factory wheels/tires any longer (no offence to those that have them), so I bit the bullet and bought new tires for the FP/ROW Ranger Raptor/Tremor wheels I had put on my truck when I first bought it. I switched to the factory wheels/tires a few months ago when the BFG K02's wore out. I probably could have used them for a few years, but just didn't like the look/size, especially with a level ?. Thanks Discount Tires for the nice price. Was the cheapest I found for the BFG/K02 265/70/17's.

I like those blacked out package wheels and wish I had them on mine instead of the charcoals but they don't look bad. I have the same KO2's on mine. Good looking truck!

I have been a little busy with my wifey's Ranger the last couple of weeks.
For an extra 5 horsepower I added some stickers to my tailgate and to my grill. I think they turned out quite nice, I like them.

I also added a new MBRP exhaust system, she doesn't know about this yet. I'm sure the 1st time she starts it up she will notice it, I hope she likes it.

Thanks, Gotta give a second shoutout. After leaving work I was admiring my new tires, and noticed a bunch of "scratches" on my wheels. I went back to the shop, and they looked at them and said is was just the lube they use. He showed me that it comes right off. I was relieved, and said I would clean it off myself when I get home. They insisted on cleaning it all off for me. 5 minutes later they looked great.

Are those TuffSkinz stickers? They're the only ones I've seen with grill letters.

You did a great job and I think it looks really good.

Another question, how hard was it to get them lined up? I'm scared I'd make it look like I had just finished a pitcher of margaritas with a few shots of Tequila to boot!
