Just ordered my TW driveshaft. How easy was it to install? As simple as undoing bolts and torquing to spec?

It’s been 5+ years since that part was installed and it was the only part ford had due to supply chain issues, and it was part of an insurance claim from a wreck so that’s not an option

I think I’m just going to get another knuckle to match. I was thinking steel but for some reason I can’t find any LCAs for steel knuckles so I might be forced to do aluminum

I can’t seem to find any lower control arms for steel knuckles? Does anyone have any links for them? Need to replace ball joints on both sides

Any idea on which one is superior? The steel or aluminum? I know the steel one has like .25” more clearance from my tire than the aluminum one

My question isn’t about knuckles. I knew it was an aluminum one the minute they put it on, the question is about who makes unibal control arms that can be used with both steel and aluminum knuckles so I just have to order 1 set

I guess, couldn’t imagine how much more I’d have to pay on an already high shop bill though

Besides Camburg, does anyone else make a uniball UCA that fits both aluminum and steel knuckles? My truck was in a wreck in 2021 and Ford put an aluminum knuckle on the side they fixed. So I can’t just go with any set of UCAs. My upper ball joints are fried so I have to replace them asap.

I have hundreds with the old setup, got some stuff coming for the bed and I’ll post a few after that’s done

Front lift got here, will put me at 3” front - 5” rear
