  1. Which Front Rotors and Pads

The part numbers with the F in them are the factory versions.
  2. Spray-in + Drop-in: Power move or overkill? Vote & win gear.šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ˜Ž

I ordered my 23 without a liner to have one sprayed in from Line-X soon after purchase in order to have a better warranty on the liner. The shop trucks at my work have drop in style which have held up well over the years, but I thought I’d give the spray in a try. (This is my first pickup)
  3. DPFE Back in Stock at Rock Auto!

Got mine in today! It indeed looks like a Ford part with their name scratched off. Being a technician at an independent shop, this is not out of the ordinary. If the aftermarket cannot make or find a part cheap enough, they will get them from the OEM supplier.
  4. DPFE Back in Stock at Rock Auto!

Got mine ordered! I’m at 13,000 miles on my 2023, so I figured it would be good to have one on hand.
  5. New Rubber!

From what I’ve seen, the black wall version are O.E. equipment spec. Made ā€œcheaperā€ in simplest terms.
  6. New Rubber!

Thanks! That’s what I was going for. I’m at stock height and am keeping it that way. I do have Bilstein 4600s all the way around.
  7. New Rubber!

Thanks! No new pics of the 98. It resides in my parent’s garage and is driven a couple times per month lol. This one is from 2020 when it was first brought ā€œhomeā€. It looks the same, but now has the full size mirrors that were optional at the time.
  8. New Rubber!

With the good luck I’ve had with this BFGoodrich Trail Terrains on other vehicles, I finally put a set on my Ranger! I went a size up to 265/65/18 over the factory 265/60/18 and I think they look great! I have the Ford Performance tuner which let me adjust for the difference in size that these...
  9. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

    All waxed and 303 protected…
  10. EVAP Code Struggles

With the evidence from the small amount of smoke and the scratches on the filler neck, replacing the filler neck would be the ā€œbest educated guessā€ in my opinion. I work at a small independent shop and with it being such an intermittent issue with nothing obviously ā€œbrokenā€ it makes sense. But...
  11. Counterfeit struts from Walmart?

My 2023 FX4 shocks did not say FX4 on them from the factory. But I didn’t care as I switched them to Bilsteins at 1,000 miles.
  12. Bilstein 4600 Monotube OEM Shocks Set for 2019-2023 Ford Ranger 4WD RWD

I replaced mine at 1,000 miles. After my first highway trip, I knew I had to. It bounced up and down like a sailboat! Once apart, one of my FX4s on the front was already leaking down the side…at 1,000 miles! The 4600s are a world a difference. A little on the firm side at times, but handling and...
  13. Rubber tore off inside portion of KN Air Filter

I too have the FPT and continued using the stock filter from day one without issue. I sold the new K&N from the kit on Marketplace lol. So you should be fine using a stock filter in place of the K&N.
  14. 10-speed transmission filter rattle

You’re welcome! I have the MBS dipstick and it’s well worth it!
  15. 10-speed transmission filter rattle

You’re welcome. I purchased a Motorcraft filter in October of last year from Rockauto and it too had the rattle to it. I cut open the filter from my March of 2023 built Ranger and it had the flap in it.
  16. 10-speed transmission filter rattle

The rattler is from the ā€œthermal plateā€ inside the filter. Here is an article that better explains what that is. https://www.transmissiondigest.com/10r80-10l90-ford-gm-ten-speed-unique-filter-system/
  17. ProCal Issue

Glad it worked out! You’ll enjoy the tune, for sure!
  18. ProCal Issue

I contacted them by phone and talked to a guy about what was going on. After I had proof of purchase, I was contacted by another guy who was able to fix it through my computer remotely with the ProCal hooked to it. There were some hoops to jump through, but it all got sorted out. I don’t plan on...
  19. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I don’t think you could go wrong either way. I installed 4600s around 2,000 miles on my 2023 fx4. Once apart I could see one of the factory fronts was already leaking! Sadly, just cheap junk installed at the factory.
  20. Overkill fluid changes

I’m an over maintainer because my job is to fix broken and worn out cars everyday from lack of maintenance and I don’t want my Ranger fall into that category?.
