Thanks for the quick response.
I'm thinking of buying the same travel trailer and was wondering how the truck preformed. I have a couple of more questions about your setup.
What was the gross combined weight of truck and trailer fully loaded?
The Ranger has a gross combined weight rating of 12,250 lbs. I'm curious how close you are to the max GCWR.
Also, have you towed this rig in the mountains at high elevations? If so, did the engine lose any power?
GCWR of my set up is 11,720. Most of my trips so far have not had long hard pulls. We leave on a trip tomorrow that will give it a much better test going over the Grape vine in CA on I-5.
Ill reply again after this trip

Ranger took Cajon Pass from San Bernardino to Victorville at 55 and no strain on engine with all the gears this trans has, next was 14 mile pull up hiway 178 from Ridgecrest elevation of 2200 ft to 6000 ft and the engine worked but again the trans kept downshifting and took at 50 mph in 4th gear and tached about 4500pulling the 28' Salem Cruise lite …..combined gross wt. was 11,750
I am totally thrilled with this truck!

How's the Ranger pull the Tracker and how do you like the Tracker? I've been looking at the Ranger VX Series (which looks like a very similar hull to the Targas), hoping it's not too much boat for the truck (or my garage, ha).

Towing a 1976 18ft Starcraft. Got it out of storage today, cleaned it up, made sure it ran and ready to go. First tow and it was no problem.

My first RV trip. Bought the Ranger specifically for this purpose. From just outside Philadelphia to Lancaster County. About a 70 mile trip each way, mostly highway. Handled well, got about 14 mpg. Looking forward to more adventures!
