Yeah, definitely something you have to keep clean, but a good reason to get a trailer for it because it was never an issue for me while actually on the trail! Never found the intrusion issue on mine, but thankfully, the last 5000 miles on the Jeep have been good! I just recently put a 600 mile trip on the Ranger up to Drummond Island and back towing the Jeep at the Ranger did great! Towing expressway speeds about 80% of the time (70-75 MPH) and 2 lane road (55 MPH) the rest of the time, the Ranger averaged 12-13 MPG, and my buddies 3.5 EB F-150 only averaged 10 MPG towing his ZJ! Was very interesting to see! Quite the amazing truck!Wow! This is exactly the vehicle I want to tow with a Ranger I plan to order. Gobi 2DR Jeep JK as well! And I also had caliper issues, mine were sticking at some point on 3/4 corners. Turned out mud was getting under the piston boots and was causing corrosion.
