Hopefully it’s taller and the seating position is better. Looks like it might be!
Never thought about this before, but I definitely prefer ford’s round wheel arches over competitors’
@AndyMedic awesome build!! Looks great.
It’s been warm, washed the Ranger and installed my M2M grill insert. Got some tint quotes too, I’m interested in the ceramic tint to help keep the cab cooler in the summer.
So far I’m only 750 miles in, but I’m really impressed with this truck. Stock suspension, and i gotta say, it’s an extremely comfortable vehicle. I’m not disappointed by the ride at all. Smooth and keeps the baby sleeping.
Great seats, fantastic instrument ergonomics, plenty of back seat room...
Very true! I just hate to cover up the awesome velocity blue and I thought that color matched would be cool. I also saw @GregP color matched LineX when searching the forum
WOW, that looks amazing! 6G with ARB = sweet!
Done over the last week, but some pictures of the bedrug, tonneau, husky floor mats, and weathertech mud flaps. I also picked up some Bronco Big Bend take-offs, including the spare. Spare also fits! Tires came with TPMS sensors and stock Dueler AT's...
Pictures to come tomorrow.
Installed WeatherTech mud flaps (live on dirt road), Husky X-Act contour floor mats (Very impressed, work great with vinyl floor), Bed Rug Bedmat XLT, and Truxedo Truxport Tonneau.
Note on the weathertech mud flaps: they had really crappy hardware. The included clips...
Drove 70 miles home through a snow storm. 94 was pretty brutal tonight. Thankfully 4WD and good traction control. Truck was very planted and handled great, esp on the stock highway tires.
No necessarily; I'm not bleeding the brake line or caliper, but the ABS module. In most vehicles today, bleeding the ABS module will require a scantool. Luckily with Ford, we have ForScan, instead of a 10K SnapOn.
Here's a thread on this topic.
1. Forscan ABS Bleed. WOW what a difference! It feels like it actually has brakes now! Kind of nuts that it would leave the factory with air in the line. I recommend everyone do this immediately. I used OBDLink EX.
2. Damper!
3. Neoprene Seat Covers (Universals from Amazon made by FH Group)...
I think GM trucks combined outsold the F-Series, but the F-Series definitely was the #1 sold truck in 2022
I think the issue for Ford is that GM is currently gaining market share in the segment and F-Series has lost market share. How much if that was due to supply? My guess is a lot. While...
Looked up a picture of this on BedRug’s website, and I dig how it looks! This might be the way!
I’m interested in the BedRug to add some cushion for sitting, kneeling, dog to hang out, etc. They seem to hold up well to wear and tear, and I’m just kind of interested in trying it out.
I don’t think so, or maybe later down the road. I’m thinking of doing a BedRug, which is an expanded polypropylene “rug” that goes over the bed. If I do a bed liner some time, I’ll probably just go to the local lineX or LineX depending of which is cheaper
Pictures of Velocity Blue XL 100A! My damper comes tomorrow and my Rostra Cruise Control sometime next week.
Set covers and BedRug next. May try some of those laser fit floor mats too for easier cleanup. Also, the vinyl floor is slippery as hell when your shoes are wet, so I'm definetely going...
My wait is over! Picked it up tonight, it’s dark out Tao pictures tomorrow!
Honestly had the best dealership vehicle purchase closing I’ve ever had at Fox Ford, especially compared to some other dealerships I’ve visited in the past (ahem every Toyota/Subaru dealer). I wish they were a little...
Great questions, I had similar ones while shopping for mine, but I didn't quite think it out as far as you did.
I have an SUV, but I needed more room to haul stuff, so I bought a 6x12 utility trailer. The utility trailer is fantastic for hauling a lot of stuff, but it's a PITA to use all the...
You're 100% rights. It's unfortunate that I sometimes feel like I'm "taking a gamble" with a Ford over a Toyota, and that's a problem that Ford needs to fix. They must get a handle on their quality control.
That being said, I don't regret ordering the Ford at all (at least right now), since the...
