So from what I've read in this thread,
I should be able to fit 265/70R18 on stock rims with a 2.5" or 3" lift. Has anyone done this set up that could give me insight on any rubbing or anything?

I have been peppered through work, and as just being a recent Ford owner, with new Bronco information. I have been kind of digging the look with the steel wheels on the Broncos with the off road packages. So with that image in my head, I picked up a set of XL steel 16" rims off a 2020 Ranger with center caps and lug nuts for $100. Couldnt pass on them for that price. I decided to go old school look with a set of LT235/85R16 tires on them. I didnt want to spend $800 to decide I didnt like the look after all and didnt like the ride with the 10 ply tires. So i found a set of Milestar Patagonia A/T W tires for $110 at Walmart on line. Milestar is owned by Nankang Tires Corporation which I heard of. The cool thing with these tires is that they are all season winter tires so I can run them all year round if I like? So far I like the look of the tire and wheel on my 2019 XLT that came with the 255/65R17 Duelers. The truck now needs a 2.5" lift in the front I think. It never ends, LOL G.B.

I’ve been doing some research but can’t find a clear answer. Do 305/70/17 tires work? The ones I want are Toyo RT 305s they’re true size is 33.9x12.2r17 does anyone know if these tires would work with just a crash bar delete and 3” level? Also would they rub at full articulation when offroading?

What is the largest tire I could get. I’m interested in 265/70R17 Falken AT3W
I’ve been reading everything on this site and haven’t seen this addressed. I’m not against a 2.5 inch level kit but would prefer keeping stock

I've got Toyo AT3 265/70R18 tires with an Eibach 3" and there is zero rubbing with factory wheels, even crossing culverts and plowed fields on the farm.

Awesome thanks! You didn't have to modify the crash bar and shift it forward?
Also, are you able to post a picture of your set up?
Getting my lift installled get Wednesday and I'm beyond excited.

I think I've read through this whole thread several times now. It was only 12 pages when I got my Ranger and we are up to 16 pages now. Lots of good stuff but I keep coming back to one question I don't see clearly answered - or if it is, I'm missing it.

What is the tallest tire to fit w/o trim or level or rub?

255/80/17?
265/70/17?

My set of Icon Vector 6s (part# 2417858357TT 17"X8.5 +25 offset 93.1 bore) came in first thing this morning and had them mounted. These were mounted to 265/70/r17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Fitment is absolutely perfect with this setup. Currently running 2.5" Rough Country level and no crash bar adjustment or delete, I did take the plastic cover off a while ago though. Have not noticed any rubbing on turns yet. With any bigger of a tire you will very likely have to delete or adjust the crash bar at a minimum.

Got my wheels and tires put on yesterday!
275/55R20 on a 20x12 wheel with -44 offset
Rough country 2.5” level kit and crash bar delete, also had to take out the plastic crash absorbers behind the fender liners and minor plastic trimming to the fender flares. I’m looking into getting some bolt on fender flares and I won’t have any issues at all but for right now I have no running at full lock in either direction.

I originally ordered 33x12.5, called them back and decided to go smaller and I’m glad I did though. I think with the Rough country 3.5” level kit it would clear the 33’s with this offset. The 6” lift would clear 35’s all day long. I’m seeing these dudes in Thailand doing 35’s on XLTs with 22x14 wheels, I got a hold of someone over there and they claim they’re doing it on the Fox adjustable suspension life maxed out.

You’re on just a leveling kit in these pictures?

Top picture is right after I got the K02s mounted, bottom is Gemini Bridges in Moab.

A little disclaimer - I did rub a bit on the crash bar other day pulling into a parking spot quickly. But it hasn't happened since, and it doesn't happen during normal daily driving. Only at full lock do i have any issues.
I love this setup and I may get that size, although I would want a tad more poke. I would probably run a 1/4" spacer. I wonder if it would rub...

I am considering getting general grabber at/x 275/65R18 with 18x8 +25 offset wheel. I have the 2 5 rough country leveling kit. I'm sure will have the room I just would like to how much they would stick out if I would need fender flares or not. So if you have a picture for roughly this size Soni can see how much the Stick out before I pay 2k on this set up.

I'll take a pic later but I have the same offset and it's pretty flush

Figured I would post up my setup. Kenda klever rt 33x 10.5 with a pacbrake 2.5 in leveling kit. So far only about 2k on them with some light off roading but a lot of snow. These tires have been great very good on the snow look good and no rubbing with the front crash bar plastic removed and the bars pushed forward. Down size is a bit noiser the. Stock but not much (my wife didn't notice untill I told her).
PXL_20201229_164802754~2.jpg
How do you like the tires overall? Thinking about getting them in the same size but there's not too much information about them. Also are they good in snow/ice? Debating whether it's worth it to forego the 3 peak snowflake symbol on one of the more common A/T

Hey, so have you removed/replaced the front and rear crash bars yet? Have you started rubbing a lot more lately? Just curious, because your truck has a nice stance and the 33’s must be nice for offroading. Im planning to go this route you have setup.
