  1. Drivers Tail Light Running Lights Not Working

The battery reset did not work. I found there was a recall for something in the US to do with loose Pins in the connector on 2019s. I am going to bring it into ford for them to diagnose it and fix it, as I'm still under warranty (barely, only 10,000km left)
  2. Your Age-Your First Ford-What You Learned To Drive On-Your Rangers Year!

Age: Just turned 26, First ford: My '20 ranger! First American vehicle too. First vehicle: 96 Nissan Maxima Additional fun fact: I also have a 98 RX7
  3. Drivers Tail Light Running Lights Not Working

I am having this issue, I don't have a topper. I checked the connector and I disconnected the battery, discharged the capacitors, then reconnected it. Still not good. I'll try just leaving the battery disconnected and I'll report back for anyone else that may come across this thread with a...
  4. Bed and cab contact

No ice buildup at the time. I was going up a snow pile on the front left. No damage anywhere on the vehicle. Debating on just getting it fixed through insurance, pay for it myself, or just leave it after I had hit it with a paint pen. Yup, paint did Crack. I picked off the flakes and painted...
  5. Locked out again this morning

Same for me this morning. No remote start. And it was -40 out ?
  6. Bed and cab contact

Trying to figure out why this happened and how I can prevent it. I think it was from me 3 wheeling/flexing on a snow pile. Almost looked like I hit something or something hit me, but no damage anywhere else.
  7. noise in rear of cab over bumpy roads or when closing the passenger side door.

I had a similar issue. Sounded like a flat of water bottles in the back seat. Found the rubber between the cab and the bed was squeaking. Cleaned it out and sprayed with silicone lube and it went away. Could also be heard when closing the doors. Only happened when really cold (-20c or lower)
  8. Rock sliders/ side steps, LETS SEE EM!

I believe it will be about $800 CAD for me and $1200 with powder coat and install. Which is cheaper than the other options for me to ship from the states.
  9. Manual hubs?

Yes I remember where you live. You have said it multiple times on here. And I remember as I live in the Canadian rockies with undoubtedly steeper passes. But my question is did you keep many controlled variables? Like drove same route with cruise control and was using premium before as well? Was...
  10. Manual hubs?

Yes. 100% of the time. So if there was a way to put manual hubs, you would then get some economy savings, but not enough. And most people with a tune want to feel the tune. Besides, I haven't heard many people do a before and after fuel economy test for the tunes. (Like same conditions). 30mpg...
  11. Rock sliders/ side steps, LETS SEE EM!

I'm going to have a local fabricator make some. Significantly cheaper than the ones I want online.
  12. Manual hubs?

Honestly, not worth it. The point to hubs is for better fuel economy. And then the tune will give you worse economy. Just get the tune and you will be happy. If you want real 4x4-ness, do a front solid axle conversion.
  13. Clearview Towing Mirrors

Would have to see how it looks on the vehicle from afar. Would be super useful for when I have to tow!
  14. HVAC Recirculate: still bringing in external air?

All vehicles (to my knowledge) allow a portion of outside air into the airbox. I've heard many reasons. Lack of oxygen, positive air, mould, or moisture. It's normal operation. I know what you are talking about with the smoke as here in alberta we get smoked out by BC once every two years making...
  15. Truck is in for service

So the power ranger is in for warranty repair and I got a loaner/rental escape. Pretty peppy for its size. I love how the controls are set up in these. Why can't our trucks have the controls like this? Also I love the lane centering in this, our trucks have it so you get pulled back when you...
  16. Goodbye Ranger, Hello 2022 Frontier

Done a PDI on a couple frontiers. Nice trucks. Way more spacious, but they seem a bit short in the ground clearance department. I'd have to see them in person lifted to a decent hight to make the switch. Also I hate the headlight design. LED reflectors. I prefer projectors with a clean cut off line
  17. 2019 Ranger Solid Axle Swap

Can't wait to hear your opinion of how it drives on and off road. I also can't wait to see some mad flex photos
  18. Show me your best pictures of your Ranger.

Waiting for a ferry on my way to Vancouver island
  19. Anybody Seen Dave?

Covid sucks man. Hope you get well soon Dave and others who have it! I've been fortunate to not have gotten it. I knew someone who couldn't get out bed and had to crawl to the bathroom. They had no health issues. Couldn't imagine what it would be like to not be able to breathe like some people...
  20. Show me your low profile tonneau cover

No real leaks. On water gets in in heavy downpour or if I go through deep water (up to the doors). It has foam and gutters to keep water out fron the top. In the car wash it some times gets in at the top corners of the tailgate.
