Threw on some 305/70/17r tires on a 17x9 +1mm offset rim with a 3” level.
Crash bars removed, plastic block behind felt liner removed, and a little bit of felt liner trimmed on the rear side of the front fender well. Only one spot rubs at full lock and full articulation. But it’s just the felt...
I appreciate all the responses haha. I definitely got a real good laugh with these. I knew it was a stupid question to begin with and like someone else said, to achieve something like this would be more work than what it’s worth. I was just wondering if anything like this existed because it...
Sorry if this has already been answered. I tried to look to see if it has been but I couldn't find anything. Anyways this is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if they make tailgate dampers that are hidden? Like in the F-150 the factory damper is behind the tailight out of sight. Is...
I think I’m gonna go with the Toyo RT 305s not sure on the wheel yet but probably a 17x9 or so. I really like the looks of 305s but I don’t want to cut into my wheel well very much and I’m not sure if that’ll be the case with 305s
Yeah I wouldn’t be doing any heavy wheeling just some light stuff whenever I go hunting, camping, etc. However I like the looks of 305s but I feel like they might bottleneck the trucks capabilities. So I might just go with 33s
Do you think with a 3” level 305/70/17 (33.9x12.2r17) would work? I know crash bars would have to go but do you think I would have enough clearance on and offroad?
Yeah that might be a good idea huh... haha. Totally spaced out on that part. Right now it just has a 3” level. Might do a fox or eibach setup in the future but either way the the front will stay at 3”
Good looking truck! 295/70/17 is close to the tire I want to run. I wanna run a 305/70/17 do you think that extra 1/2” taller and about an 1” or less wider would cause rubbing issues? Particularly offroading? Obviously crash bar delete and 3” level
I’ve been doing some research but can’t find a clear answer. Do 305/70/17 tires work? The ones I want are Toyo RT 305s they’re true size is 33.9x12.2r17 does anyone know if these tires would work with just a crash bar delete and 3” level? Also would they rub at full articulation when offroading?
I am wondering if anybody has ran 305/70/17 tires? I am looking at the Toyo RTs 305s which are about 33.9x12.2r17. I really like that aggressive beefy look. However I’m not sure how 34x12s would work offroading. I know I’ll need to cut the crash bars but will these rub while turning even with...
What are the specs on those tires? I want to run 305/70/17 which are 33.9x12.2r17 but idk if I’ll have to trim the wheel well for off-roading. Crash bars for sure
Thinking about doing this to my ranger. So you just had to cut the crash bars? You said minor rubbing at full lock what about when at full articulation? I'm debating between running 35x12.5r17 or 33x12.5r17
What’s up guys! Just bought a new ranger about 3 weeks ago and I am wondering if anyone has some experience with running 33x12.50r17 tires on 17x8.5 0 offset rims to be specific, the truck has a 3” leveling kit on it now. So I’m assuming I would I have to cut the crash bars to fit this setup...
