Edited: rear hardware kit has a picture that shows clips similar to the front ones I need so I'm going to assume they're in the front kit. Thanks man! Saved me some money and soon the embarrassment of having a squeaky new truck
Hey everyone, installed my lift a couple months ago and in the process one of the brake pads came out and one of the little clips came off and I couldn't find it. Wasn't too big of an issue until the last couple weeks when it start squeaking. Anyone know where to find just the clips or do I need...
Did some more research. I'll probably look into getting some additional gussets added on. Probably should've searched more beforehand so I could've asked for a 3"x3" or 4"x4" frame plate to be welded on for each mounting point as well. Appreciate the advice.
Hey everybody, got my sliders from first choice welded on last week. Saw someone on an overlanding Facebook group post about him so I figured I'd give him a shot. Haven't had a chance to test their durability yet, hopefully I will this summer once the snow melts..
Paid $650 for them. He also...
Hopefully the pictures aren't too blurry.
Parts:
Fox 2.0 set at 2"
Fabtech 1" spacers
General grabber atx 265/70r17 C load
Husky floor mats
Vinyl tailgate letters
Ignition trim thingy
Think that's about it. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. Tires only measure 31" which is a bummer but I like...
Charles. White bald guy. Super nice super helpful, if it weren't for him idk what I would've done lol. Also I'd recommend just removing the sway bar end link rather than the whole sway bar. A little more time consuming but worth it I'd say. He probably helped me 3-4 times in the 5 hours I was...
Took the axle nut off but idk if I didn't back it out far enough or what cause it still came out. Other thing was the rear passenger top bolt is pretty stupid. The captured nut broke off and we couldn't get anything on there to remove the bolt. Ended up sawzalling it in half then using an air...
It's off Washington St in Denver. Diy auto repair. How much did 4wp charge for install? Mine ended up being 266 for 5hrs. Was a good experience but if I had to do it again I'd pay a professional
Just got back from the diy place today. They had everything I needed to install. I started at the diy rate but my axle came out the diff and the technician there helped me out. Was there from 10-4 whatever could've went wrong did lmao
Yeah im already looking for places to live out there. Since ive been at my command i haven't had more than a 10 minute commute but from what my friends at the fort have told me that doesnt exist there so i might just end up getting a beater so i dont rack up too many miles when i go. Also been...
Also putting that on Sunday. Fox 2.0s I think I'm going to leave them at the preset 2". Also bought readylift intrusion beams just in case since I also got 1" wheel spacers. Lots of stuff to put on its going to be a long day. Really hoping I don't need to change the rear intrusion beams as they...
In the end I was just getting impatient waiting for the grabbers to come out. Guess it would've worked out to be around the same time since I think I'm getting my falkens installed on Sunday. Also couldn't decide 265 or 285 so I just split the difference
Oh sweet they're out. I'm still agonizing over the decision but my local discount tire already ordered some falken wildpeak 275/70r17 in C for me. Thank you for letting me know though
Idk why the guy posted it as stock. Could see the king shocks in some clips and in the comments he mentioned it has king shocks and comburg ucas among a couple other things. Still a cool video though
