I wonder what benefit that provides? Does it report possible bugs in the software? If not, I'll probably pass. My wifi in the driveway is weak.
I believe this updates both Oasis and Fordpass which will remove the update from your available Sync 3 updates.
It’ll phone home what you’re currently running. If you want potential bugs reported you need to toggle on the diagnostics option in analytics and diag settings, if you’ve got it connected to WiFi. Then if anything happens it’ll send it in. You can also submit generic bug reports from that menu, just make sure you do it as soon as possible after some event happens.

The map chunks are usually are around 1 GB, then it'll need the NAV VOICE pack which is another 1 and some GBs. So, could take a bit depending on your speeds and such.So after installing this latest update, I connected to wifi and ran a manual scan to prompt the system to recongnize Sync 3 has been updated to the latest version/build and now it is downloading a file that was not part of the update.
Anyone know what this file is for?

That's just another piece of the map update. The NAV VOICE pack.mine updated nav at same time. wasn't timing but looks to have taken lil' less 40 mins or so.
my bad, i guess the nav update embedded with the 3.4 update wasn't the most current (?); rescanned and it picked up another...
