I also love my MBS stick! I sent a sample of fluid out to be tested and it came back with high aluminum content. They suggested I change the fluid and test after another 30K miles. The MBS stick made this a simple operation. I can't imagine trying to do this without the dipstick. Thanks Fitz!

You said you removed a leaf, so the global spring bolt would work. Not sure it will if I leave all the leaves installed. I wonder how others did it?

I think whenever I have to replace mine I'll use your idea and run a wire inside the tube as a backup.

Had the same issue a couple of times. Had a semi trailer, big object, in front and the truck just kept accelerating till I had to stomp the brakes to avoid hitting the trailer. Gotta be some software issue or a jamming issue. Maybe another vehicle with the same frequency?

I'm guessing the alternator is still down low.
