I wonder if Ford has an updated replacement hose that we could use as a preventive measure? Or is this a combination of bearing failure and hose failure?

Had the same issue a couple of times. Had a semi trailer, big object, in front and the truck just kept accelerating till I had to stomp the brakes to avoid hitting the trailer. Gotta be some software issue or a jamming issue. Maybe another vehicle with the same frequency?
Yeah, an Ecoflow Delta Pro (3600W) is $2.7K. (on sale now) All self contained and can charge via 12V. Something similar is probably your best option. Lots of Youtube videos out there comparing the various models available.
