Have 285/70/17 Grabbers. Been the best AT's I've had on and off road.

Just for my personal curiosity. Which others have you owned?

I fogured I ahould go ahead and put this here finally.

I got the Firestone Destination XT IN 285/70-17 on stock wheels with NO spacers amd thr Old Man EMU lift kit. Rubbing? Non on the street and minimal Offroad in a turn when compressed. Great tire and probably better than the K02 in my opinion. I think Tire Rack should put the 2 tires up to the test in on and Offroad Competition just to see who comes out on top!!

I really want a bigger tire and am willing to modify the crash bars but the loss in mileage kills me as it is my daily. Let's see those 285/70/17s and hopefully you can help me persuade myself.

Haven't noticed any loss in gas

285/70/17 toyo at3 sl +25 offset rubs the last quarter turn of the wheel. Definitely gotta remove bars I just confused on where to start on the bumper loosening.

I followed the instructions for one of the bumper replacements as recommended by someone on here. It's pretty straightforward. A few bolts and a lot of delicate clips. I did not unplug the main harness since I was only loosening, not removing. You have to damn near remove it to slide the fronts out though.

285/70 17 Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek

They seem quieter/smoother than my Nitto Ridge Grapplers so far. Awesome tread life warranty too. I like them a lot.
Was set on the Discoverer AT3 4S...then I saw this tire yesterday and now I'm torn. How are you liking it. I'll be doing 80-90% road driving, so they been quiet and well mannered on road?
