I used to order tires and wheels from your website all the time but this time I had to order from Tire Rack because your site would not let me order larger tires and wheels for my Ranger. I was trying to order 285/70/17. I was able to order them on Tire Rack's site shipped, mounted and balanced.
They are in the front and back of your front tires to protect during a collision. They can be replaced with after market ones to give you more room for bigger tires. I replaced mine with the Readylift bars.
My mods are -
Ready Lift crash bars
XD 8x17 wheels
Falken MT 285/70/17 tires and spare
Engine cover
Ford front and rear camera
Ford bug guard
1/2 inch level
bed extender
Tailgate and grill raised letters
Pilar lights
lower open space grill
Ignition trim ring
Window Visors
When I bought my Tire/wheels they came with a couple hub rings that did not fit. I called Tire Rack and they told me that my Ranger was lug centric and not hub centric. I have been running the tires and wheels for about 600 miles with no vibrations or problems.
I'm running 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak MT's so far I like them. There is some noise but it doesn't bother me. They had good reviews.
I went with MT's because I did not want rocks thrown up on my truck like AT's do. Price was decent too. My wife Jeep had 37 inch Falken Wildpeak AT's on her new Jeep.
I received my plugs today and installed them. They fit tight and do not overlap much. I also found two oblong holes which I already had plugs for and installed them too.
I cleaned around the holes first but I only have 1300 miles on my truck and it has not been in the rain yet. I can always...
I just ordered them yesterday so did not receive them yet.
