I agree - a nice wall along 80 and 40 and 25 and 15 would help keep colorado secure . . . . We don't need anything east of 25 . . .

?
You know what, you can have it. Well be 'Awesorado' the 51st state.

We have all kinds of winter drivers in Idaho too. First snow and you know which they are.
My favorite are the ones who drive 2 mph with their hazards on. Like... yes... we can see you can't drive for shit. Maybe just stay home.

realistically it would probably cut the population of the state in half (yes, the majority of people live along 25, and the key was that @Colo_Ranger lives east of 25. . . ).

I am not sure of actual population densities.

now I am going to have to go see if I can find population density for the state aren't I. . .
The problem with your idea is that you have to move east to be able to afford anything. We moved from Arvada in 2020. We would make out like bandits and the West Coloradans would be shooting themselves in the foot.

Naw, I was just thinking how it was back in 1975. I drove through the area around 1996 and Colorado Springs was easily twice the size it was in 1979 when I left the area. Peterson AFB was 10 miles out of town back then. And there was nothing around NORAD / Cheyenne Mountain back then either.

C. Springs is nuts.

Sorry, we afforded a place just fine out west here...

Maybe your just a poor ;) ;)

And we're going to call it asshole-orado

In Florida it was illegal to drive with hazards on during rainstorms etc (until recently I believe) it made no difference, stupid people gonna be stupid.... Sort of like the clowns who camp in the far left lane of the highway here going the speedlimit... Me and my racetrack need to go zoom zoom so get out of the way with your dumb ass 'nAtIvE' sticker.

There are two types of transplant drivers: those who drive 2 mph when it snows and those who drive 200. Both are terrible. I'm an advocate for building an immigration wall around Colorado.
We say the same in Nevada. It has turned the state into a constant construction zone. I mean, I moved here about 8yrs ago? A lot less dirt fields out here now in my parts.

I grew up here. I think about leaving often. Its overrun (which can be said about anywhere these days). When is the Mars colonization mission?

That's not true. These are state-level laws and most states allow both red and amber rear facing lighting on the road.
Ya know driving around today, maybe it was this conversation here there was a big rig trailer with a flashing yellow/white LED on the container at a red light, didnt know if he turned off when he got moving. Then I came across an F250 work truck with two of them, they stayed on while driving but were tapped into the brake circuit too because when he stopped they flashed faster. That would be very annoying at night but oh well I guess.

Ok I found it, have to think outside the box sometimes

The Cargo Lighting circuit ties in with the Puddle Lamps (if LED Lights)
So, there is a setting in the As-Builts to Override the Auto function of them, now from what I can tell this SHOULD give normal operation of the cargo lights & puddle lights (if equipped) and give sole control to the switch position, so you will need to be careful not to leave them on.

BCM: 726-62-02 - Factory (All Trims) set as this: (0764-0500-0001)
xxxx-xxxx-x1xx
1=Override
0=Default

I hate to ask an elementary question but man, I tried searching and couldn't quickly find an example. I was going to try this as well as disable the startup chimes when I realized, I am not sure what to put in place for the "xxxx" etc.

Disable Startup Chimes (3x doo-doo-doo)IPC720-01-02 (xxxx x2xx)RCMUSTANG

I was in the process of trying this and entered it exactly as shown with the "X" too but got an error so I cancelled the write. What do I type in place of the X? A "0" (zero) or?

Yeah, more and more trucks and trailers are showing up on the roads with amber rear facing lights that mirror either the brake lights or act as running lights/turn signals that are always on.

The "X" just means, leave whatever is currently there, just replace the "2" in the position it shows in.

Funny enough, I guess it is a bad entry for the startup chime, still got an error but entered anyway. What I got was a pop up of what seatbelts were buckled. Oh well, don't want to mess with it too much with a road trip around the corner. Probably wait till after that for now.

I 100% support using amber on the back for turn signal/hazard indicator. Having an amber signaling light for that, normally means the red lights for park/brake will still function for better relaying of information on your intentions to drivers behind you than a simple single red light for park/brake/turn. I want to look into the trailer law on amber lights and update my trailer with amber turn signals on the back if legal there. I plan to use a box of relays for that, one set to the ambers (left/right on 7-pin though some logic that can determine if on for signaling or braking, likely just a relay that flip on/off state when brakes are applied, unless I can find a TRM update to make the brakes not apply to RH / LH circuit) and brakes (brakes on 7/pin) get grounded on one position of a switch while another bank to just the red lights (left/right on 7-pin) if being towed by a vehicle without an EBC is the other position of that switch.

I've not even looked to see of the new Ranger retained the amber signal lights on the back or not. But that is something I liked about the 5G Ranger. The only car here with common park/brake/signal lights is my wife's POS Jeep.

Absolutely, turn signals should always be amber. I wired in my bike hitch carrier to a 7-pin so I got reverse trigger as well, and the turn signals on that are amber.

I have not seen one, because I have not looked, but I'm pretty sure someone makes a module to decode the two turn/brake signal from the standard US trailer plugs, and turn it into separate brake and turn signals. After all they have been making them to go the otherway for a long time. That way the trailer connector would work with any tow vehicle. I would not mess with the pinout of the standard 7-pin as that could cause a whole host of problems.

The biggest annoyance I have with my xprite chase light bar is the turn signals are wired to the same leds as the brake lights. So hitting brakes you lose turn signals... Not a big deal as I got it really as a replacement high mount brake light. But an annoyance none the less. ?

The amber leds only illuminate when triggered from the switch - and I have it under the hood so I didn't need to penetrate the firewall. ?

Since I know you are new to the Ranger, I will say I wish I messed with Forscan when I first got my Ranger in 2021 lol. Really helps make it just the way you want it.
