Folding mirror forscan

So if I enable folding mirrors how does it work ? I have the button that folds the mirrors ....if I enable the folding mirror option in forscan will it open and close them as I turn the car on and off?

It's not that simple. You need a hardware kit, previously sold by a member here, to change the way the mirrors operate. I can only assume that the Forscan option enables and disables the overall power function.

You need a module. Aftermarket.
I have one that does the auto mirrors and can also put up or take down windows.

Let me take a look. But now that you mention it it seems they pulled that product.
Well they have the RH Drive version but not the LH Drive :-/
There is another Australian source - but you need 2 modules, one for mirrors and one for windows. A few mega treads on that one.

RedTek is the other Australian company that makes the modules. I would contact both companies directly about compatability with our left hand drive trucks.

Just a heads up about the window module. If you get one; you may want to put a disconnect switch in-line with the power. Was washing my truck and sprayed around the door handle and the windows rolled down. Luckily not too much water got inside the truck. I do like the option of the one touch for all windows.

As for the mirror module. The mirrors will automatically fold in when you lock the doors and unfold when you start the truck. You still can use the button anytime if you want.
