I cant get it to hook to my truck yet, FORscan gets in but then says "vin not recognized" or the like. Admittedly Im a newb at this and have yet to take many runs at it, but the double honk has got to go!

I'm a newbie myself but it seems right up my alley. My BIL just bought an '18 F150 and has been bugging me to help him get into it. Have you spent any time on the Forscan forums for assistance? I'm hopeful it's going to be similar to the Edge but I haven't had a chance to get into it yet.

I've not been able to mess with it at all, but from what I have read, the most important thing is the spreadsheets with all the proper offsets for each of the configurable items. I'm not sure how people figure that stuff out, but without the offsets, it doesn't seem like you can do much. I watched a YouTube video of a guy making some mods to his F-150 and then did a little poking around the Forscan forums.

I'd love to know if anyone has success in making any changes. I won't have any opportunity to experiment for a couple months....

Yay, I'm famous now! I'm looking to see what kinds of things I can enable, but admittedly I'm chicken for sure :)

I’m curious to know if we can mod it to autofold the mirrors when in park or locked with the key fob.

Well, not with Forscan... I just used the hidden Sync3 settings menu. BUT this just proves it can be changed permanently with Forscan if someone should want to. When using the Sync3 settings, its only a temporary change and reverts to stock after an ignition cycle.
