Ouch! I paid $4.69 yesterday (in CT), and today it's up to $4.79. Thanks you know who!

This is the one reason I didn't get the Ford Tune, no option for regular gas.

Just hit 4.99 a gallon where I'm at. Im literally on craigslist looking at 250cc bikes to get me to and from work hahahahahahaha
They are great as long as you don't fall off. Your health insurance deductible will kill your gas savings ha.

There is a CT125 near me but it's $5500 for a bike that retails for $3900. Would take me almost 5 years to make that up in gas savings at the current price.

I've been using the 87-89 performance tune all along.
I tried that Steve when gas hit $4.00/gal. I made it as far as Sam's Club and reflashed it back to the 91-93 soft shift tune right in the parking lot. lol I just filled up in Durango at $5.38/gal for 91 octane. It's painful but really the difference between 87-91 is only around $5-$6 more per fill up. I don't put a lot of miles on (besides this trip) and I think the extra power and higher octane is worth it.

You could alway take on a side hustle. Met a Canadian national treasure this morning. Old dude, easily 80+, full of spit and vinegar that dropped “f “ the government in every other breath. He runs a 12’ trailer full of cigs and tobacco from the reservation here back to Vancouver every other month. At 1/3 the price here I’m sure he’s making a bundle. Claims this is his tenth year running back and forth.

I'd pay the $5-6 gladly but here it's $5-6 for plus an 10-11 for premium. I might go back to premium but I keep thinking when I'm on the 91-93 I spin the tires a lot on launch an with the 89 it just chirps so I'm probably getting to speed quicker with the plus but it's not as hard on the tires (or impressive)

I just visit the Brewery one less time per month and that covers the cost of Premium gas over regular.
That’s just what I was thinking. 10 gallons of premium with a 75 cent difference to regular is about what a pint of craft beer costs. I guess it’s what gives you the biggest thrill!

Gas is cheaper at the Indian Reservation, everytime I go to SoCal desert I take the road that gets me to Valley View Casino, they got a cheaper gas than anywhere else.

Yeah I had to switch tunes as well, it’s called the 0 octane special.

Fred was wise to opt for the pass-through window on his truck. Makes it much easier to tote those Brontosaurus bones home for Dino.

I'm to the point of flashing back to the 87 performance tune I have as well.. :frown:
I told myself that when premium broke $4.00/gal I would go back to 87. Well I did go back to an 87 octane performance tune with some custom tranny tuning. To be honest they only time I noticed a difference between 87 and 93 tunes was at WOT above 5000 rpm. I seldom drive the truck that way so my overall driving enjoyment is the same and even if premium goes back below $4.00/gal I will stay with 87.

I'm going back to 87 as well. I have the Livernois tune.

The only reason I've been hesitant is because it's summer and octane = resistance to detonation.

Turbo, high compression, heat...

I wish I knew more people with experience with this program. It looks neat but kinda reminds me of IBOTTA where at first it was cool to get money back on groceries but then the program changed and it was basically ad's for companies to try to encourage you to buy their product over someone else and you had to unlock the reward before your purchase.

Yeah i started to not care for 93 only after a bit.
Even though 20mpg isnt bad for the tremor, filling up every week with 93 sucked, and for the power/difference it made, doesnt feel worth it now.
Costco gas is at least a smaller hit compared between reg/premium.
