Hmmmm. I like the look of it but was hoping it would be powered by the same engine in the tundra (fat chance I know). If it could tow more around 10k let’s say I could see that being my next vehicle but it looks like I’ll continue looking at the tundra. Hard to give up both the bed and towing...
It looks great! I think the fumes thing will be a non issue because the truck is not sealed nearly tight enough imo. Otherwise there would be a bit less noise I would think.
Please keep us posted on if you notice anything different, I don’t plan to keep the truck much longer but if I have to I may be doing this long term.
Funny i have the opposite problem, I park outside no issue, I park in the detached garage I have an issue. I have gotten 3 mice so far. I’m leaving traps out for a while still
If they stuck to the original price when they announced it I really woulda considered it and I don’t even care much for electric. It’s definitely weird looking but better to have unique cars on the road imo.
I pryed if off a bit to take a look a couple weeks ago, There is a vent behind it. Whatever adhesive they use for that sure stays super tacky even going on three years. It’s basically the same except for that plastic/foam piece. I am still parking outside though even with all the fixes I’ve...
Yeah I’ve noticed it on the cars in the 2000’s to mid 2010’s (focus&fiesta, fusion&taurus) but did not know it was called that. iI never bothered me until they started doing it with vehicles of such different proportions like the maverick and ranger. Other brands do it as well (Lexus and bmw)...
I’m pretty sure Kia/hyundai, Toyota, and most of the European luxury brands. Kia and Hyundai have by far the most standard options that would be premium on most other brands barring luxury.
Does anyone know what this piece is for? It is glued to the passenger side vent behind rear seat and there is no evidence of any mice chunks but i would like to cover the vent with the mesh like the drivers side. Not sure if I should remove it to cover it with mesh as it is basically the same...
I don’t know much about body work, but maybe a salvage/junk yard would be your best bet, especially in rangers that had front end collisions? But if your planning on keeping it for a long time aftermarket is not a bad idea, since a lot of them have compatibility with all the sensors.
Yes. The back of the seat against the vent has chew marks all over these things that almost remind me of backer rods that are glued to the back with chunks missing at some parts. It appears to be the same material (along with the napkin) i found below the seat in the jack storage compartment. I...
Just wanted to post an update. I have the front vents blocked with hardware cloth aka 1/4 mesh. And tonight I found they were getting in through vent behind rear driver side seat. I put some mesh on that as well. Tonight will be the first night back in the garage as I have been parking it...
