Yup, I know it. I test drove the first Ranger at Pines. Salesman had absolutely no knowledge of the vehicle he was trying to sell me. Eventually went to Sawgrass and they were willing to order one exactly like what I was looking for. Plus they didn’t charge any dealer fees. You picked one of the...
Just curious, which dealership did you buy, Greico? I used to live in Broward and bought my 2019 at Sawgrass in Sunrise. Had to special order it and it took a couple of months but they gave me the best deal at the time.
I had a 2003 Dakota, which I traded in on the current Ranger. It was a great truck for its era, but the Ranger is a far better truck for me now. It’s a fun truck to drive.
For what it’s worth, I bought these Vland Matrix Triple LED headlights for $400. for the pair. Morimotos were too rich for me at the time. Over 2 years since install and no issues. Very clear bright white light with a nice sharp cutoff. Side lights can be had in amber or white...
When I lived in Fort Lauderdale, there would be an additional 4 - 4.5 hour drive home after getting your car off the Autotrain, and about a 4 hour drive on the other end to get to Lorton Va. Now I live in the Panhandle and the drive from/to the Autotrain in Sanford Fl is even longer, at least 6...
In theory, yes. In practice, no. It’s not enforced. (At least it’s not on the east coast CSX tracks, on which Auto Train runs.)
“ For over 50 years, freight railroads have been required by law to provide Amtrak with “preference” to run passenger trains ahead of freight trains. However, many...
I have taken the Auto Train on a regular basis for years and it has been hit or miss as far as time savings, money savings or even comfort. The time to queue up to load and then the time to disembark are significant. The roomettes are small and expensive. No cost savings what so ever. Coach...
The Tremor wheels are +42 offset, unlike the regular sport wheels which are offset +55. This gives Tremor wheels about a 1/2 inch further offset without needing a spacer.
Anyone find this new “Terms and Privacy Policy” on the app when opening it? It won’t let you get into the app unless you accept the new terms, which include the sharing of telematics and driving behavior to be shared with unspecified partners and affiliates. If so, I’m done with FordPass. Don’t...
What’s interesting is that the Maverick is similar in size as the previous Generation (Gen 4) of the Ranger. Our Gen 5 Rangers that we have now are about the size of the Gen 9 - 11 Ford F-150’s. Everything grew.
This new app version is just awful. I hate it. They removed the tab which had my Ford Premium Care Extended Warranty information. Why? Cannot understand why Ford found it necessary to fix something that wasn’t broken.
True, you might not see them but the parking sensors, front and rear, will activate if there is anything in front or behind you. Not sure if they are featured on all models, but they are on my XLT and they work very well.
You’re not missing much. As mentioned by Alan above, they only released a beta version to about 5-10% of all users so a lot of people don’t have it yet. I have tried it and I am not a fan. The original version of the app is better, in my opinion.
You’re not alone. I couldn’t find the information on my extended warranty either on my iPhone. I have to show that ESP every time I have used the extended warranty as it also lists my deductible.
I don’t rock crawl, so forgive my ignorance, but is rock crawling supposed to be a speed race or a technical obstacle run? It would seem to me that if the cross members and skid plate are smashed, and the oil pan was damaged, then the driver was clearly on a rock trail going too fast. A skid...
You ought to read up on the issues with the brand new Chevy Colorados and GMC Canyons. Lots of folks being left stranded and requiring a tow. The occasional glitches in these Rangers are minor league in comparison. All things mechanical can fail. Just saying...
