Ford is not going to replace them so I am going to do it myself. I’m going with the icon. This is sad because it’s for sure a defect but because it’s outside of warranty they won’t replace it.
Recommend you keep them and document everything. Got feeling this spring thing isn’t going to go away quietly for Ford.

Sorry you have to deal with this issue
.
I’m a Ford guy but damn Ford needs to step up to the plate here.

Today I was getting oil change/transmission fluid exchange and got a call letting me know the eye socket broke clean through like the others have posted in this thread. I have a 19 XLT that is at 60000 miles. Dealer quoted 1700 to replace both.

If you have to pay for a new set of springs. Get away from the stock and get a multi-leaf spring. This was one of the better mods I made. Definitely made my ride better. No longer felt like I was riding in the back seat of the school bus ? and being bounced off the seat every time it hit a bump in the road.

That's cheap for both. Mine was covered under extended ded warranty but would have cost $2300.

Took my 2020 in for 40k service, and to check on a transmission bucking problem they can't replicate, and they sent me a video. Both leaf springs broken. This shouldn't be possible on any 5 year old vehicle, but there's 5 or 6 of them just in this thread?

I have the parts and I'll hang on to them for a while. I'm not looking to cause problems for Ford, but the "how could this happen" part of me wants to do more research.
Mine did same thing, 2019 lariat fx4 ranger. 3700 to replace ford wont cover because milage. Same spot. Delamination of the steel. Ford knows about this and wont do any thing.

Unbelievable. The fact they won’t even attempt to help cover it speaks volumes of their lack of quality and their lack care about their customers.

You can get aftermarket springs for $800 to $1500 depending on brand. They are pretty easy to change or should not be more then a couple hundred to have someone change them out.

I haven't gone looking but I wonder if the 6G has monoleafs still. If not it would suggest Ford realized the leafs they put on the US 5G was a mistake and I'd think a costly recall to swap to multileafs (like the UK ones I got off eBay) should be imposed on them - or financial compensation. Otherwise everyone gets 5G Tremor leaf packs.

Yea, no rust here, which is nice. Still going to eyeball them on Thursday when I have an afternoon off.

I'm sure they're fine, but there's no way in hell my brain will let me ignore them now.
Yep, same here.
