About to schedule an oil change, I'm at about 42k miles. Should I be doing anything else other than "the works"?

Other then my AC the truck is running great.

I tried looking for other threads but came up empty for 40k.

Off the top of my head, a new cabin air filter every 20,000 miles but that is super simple to do yourself. It’s easy to access, easy to change, and cheap. You may even be able to buy it from your dealer with FordPass points.

The dealer will likely try to sell you a fuel system cleaning - not necessary if you aren’t experiencing lugging or misfiring.

The Works should cover anything you’ll find in the Owner’s Manual under Scheduled Maintenance - starts at p. 438 in mine.

Thanks for the owner's manual reference pages.

Nice - I’ve really only been through there on my way to and from Phoenix - never stopped but it sure looks like a great place to live. ?

I am taking mine in for the 45k service (every 5k) Friday. I am getting new tires as well. I could have possibly gone to 50k on them. How are your tires at 40k?

Just replaced my factory Hankook at 45k last week. Still decent tread depth, but they were getting slick in the rain and snow.

Similar to the Duelers. I did the penny test and part of Lincoln's went below the tread, but not much. The Duelers always seemed to suck in the rain, and with at least a month of winter to go, I thought it was time to upgrade to the Michelin Defenders. But happy to get 45k out of the original rubber.

I changed my differential lube at about 25K. Had the dealer use the 'premium' Ford product.

Make damn sure you get your belts checked. The inside belt on my truck let go Monday night and took out a piece of the front engine (timing cover. Had to wait 2 hours for a tow in West Texas in dense fog.
