2021 order time frame?

My Lariat was supposed to be built the week of Oct. 25th, now it has been moved to be built the week of Nov. 22nd per my Dealer. Ordered on Aug. 24th

I ordered my Lariat Tremor on 8-18, got the VIN# on 9-9....nothing since. Have you access to your window sticker yet? I hope to get scheduled tomorrow or next week. Thanks and enjoy your truck!

Window stickers are typically not available until about a week before the scheduled build date.

How can I find out where my truck is. It was built 9/1 and was waiting to be shipped untill 9/20. That was my Est. Delivery date. Tracking has not updated since then now no Est. delivery date.

if its confirmed to have shipped and is on a railcar then you'll need to get the rail car number from your dealer

Window stickers are typically not available until about a week before the scheduled build date.

I wish this were true in my case, with a build week of 9/27 then I should of had the sticker last week but nothing yet, and the tracker only shows order accepted 8/11 nothing about in production, hopefully it's just lag time of info input and fwiw I have a XLT ordered, so at this point all I can do is be patient

That is why I said "typically". My guess is that your build date has changed due to all the supply issues. I believe that the reason the window stickers appear shortly before production is that is a step in the process - when they send the details to the plant for production it stages the window sticker. So if yours isn't available yet, it is probably delayed for some reason.

I know how hard waiting is - I vivdly remember waiting for mine. I can only imagine how much harder it is now due to all the uncertainty. I hope your build occurs soon and you have your new truck quickly.

Ford really could do a MUCH better job of keeping customers informed of their order status honestly. If they truly want to move to more of a "build on demand" model, they will need to seriously up their game in that regard.

Oh yes I understand the window sticker timing is a generality, also agree about better or even live type updates for builds when (and If) the build to order takes off, in that case my guess is that a lot of customers calling dealerships for info will lead to the dealerships requesting from Ford a better update/tracking site that's user friendly.

• 21MY Expedition & Ranger SIMS Recommendations – Scheduling for 21MY Expedition and Ranger has been cancelled for this week. Please do not amend this week’s SIMS orders. They will be recreated for next week’s scheduling.
• No SIMS orders were created for Transit Connect Van or Transit Connect Wagon this week. Please enter orders for remaining unscheduled allocation.

I wonder if the Ranger scheduling for the rest of the Country, scheduled for today is still a "go"? I got a big fat nothing.........

Logged in this morning to check on my Lariat Tremor. (supposedly built yesterday). It finally showed an estimated delivery of 10/10, got super excited because it has shown in production for over a week, but I logged in again a few minutes ago and it is back to N/A delivery. Not a good sign :-(
I am hoping it went back to N/A because it is being sent out for bed liner and not being sent to Dirt Hill.

(Update) 9/30 - The Est Delivery date came back on as 10/10 shortly after my first post stating it went N/A, then a few days ago it changed to 10/04?? Haven't heard anybody's getting moved up so I am hopeful. I am hoping it doesn't get pushed back a month like others are saying. My dealer is about 45 minutes from the plant so hoping this helps. Fingers crossed.

So... I was waiting for an Oxford White XLT with Sport Appearance package to arrive at a dealership about an hour away from me. I put a deposit on it early in September and they said it should be in by the end of the month (September). I learned how to track the order on Ford's site and found when it shipped that the ETA was the middle of October. So, I had been getting status updates from my dealer and the last we knew, it was in GA, last week.

So, Tuesday evening I emailed and asked if there was any update, as a week had passed. His reply, Wednesday morning was simply, "No news." I thought, "Well, that's depressing." I got online and started looking again, just out of boredom. Ford now showed a black Ranger with Sport Appearance package as "Just Arrived" at one of my local dealers. It was a bit more expensive, but I emailed the dealer anyway to check and see if it was ACTUALLY available, or had a reservation on it. Then, I figured I may as well drive over, since it's only 15-20 minutes away. Sure enough, it was available. While the sales guy was checking the availability, I inquired with the original dealership about getting my deposit back, if I drove this one home today. Suddenly, instead of hours or a day response, I was getting an immediate response. The original truck was in Columbia, about 3'ish hours away and should be in within days. Funny that he couldn't tell me that when he replied to my inquiry about an update. Long story short, I now own the black ranger. Yaaay!

I have my order # and VIN. Build is set for around 10/18. I am wondering if there's any need to worry about a price increase over the quote when the order was made. Seems like used are selling for more than my new.
