@Tony Robyn,
Did you have any issues with a mushy brake pedal? A complaint of many on the 5th Gen.
How's the '24 brake pedal travel feel compared to the '19?
I don’t have a camper top like you, I changed to 5100 adjustable’s in the front to level it and 4600s in the rear, the side to side bobble head motion is pretty much gone but not completely, certain road and speed condt’s I still notice it.
If you need to leave the Ranger for an extended period ever again you may want to try mothballs in the engine bay strategically placed, even a couple on top of each tire and in open containers on the ground under your truck, not sure if this would work just thinking as i read your post,
it's a...
Curious to know from members with the global Ranger across the pond if their setup is the same, or did Ford just bless us with this engineering debacle?
And i'm just guessing here but i 'think more time has been spent in these threads trying to figure out why and a better repair/fix than the...
Ha Ha yea that is a MiraCase holder from Amazon holds the phone securely and hasn't come off the vent, i have the same in all the vehicles in the family satisfied with it.
And if the the install wasn't plug /play i would have left it alone i wasn't onboard with cutting the factory wires.
Thanks, yes i ran into a problem with the reverse camera but it wasn't anything i messed up connection wise, it was a defective Maestro Rr module which they replaced and shipped next day air at no charge to me so thumbs up to Crutchfield.
Also to enable some features i needed to plug into the...
Well it was a couple days project when i had free time and wasn't using the Ranger,
Crutchfield helped with some questions and a technical glitch all in all a great improvement over the 4.2 with many features i will enjoy. And i added the custom wallpaper from a USB stick. :)
Hey airline tech thanks for the wire schematic and printout, i actually had the wiring part but not the C2383A/Pinout i was thinking while waiting for the new interface that if it didn't work then there had to be a bad connection or bent pin at the harness connection.
Well i received the new...
Yes i had previously flashed the Maestro Rr module so that's ok,
The tech i talked to today had me check my connections and use my multimeter and found that by checking for voltage between the purple/white wire from the Maestro's connecter that connects to the 54pin and goes into the interface...
Hey thanks the the reply, i don't think i should have to do that since i'm using the Maestro interface module, but at this point IDK, The camera works when i change the settings but nothing while in reverse.
I'm going to call idatalink tech line tomm and see what they say.
I'm almost finished up installing a Kenwood HU with the supplied harnesses' from idatalink, Maestro Rr interface,
HR/FO2 and Ken2, before i permanently reinstall i checked out what was working and what was not.
The BU camera is not coming on in Reverse, i have the yellow RCA plug into the HU...
I believe that's what I'm experiencing, it's just to coincidental that i noticed this shortly after a Magnaflow muffler install, i will monitor if it gets louder without a corresponding exhaust tone increase under acceleration
( i notice it decelerating from about 65 to 60 )
