Found out today that my Lariat Tremor delivery date has jumped from Oct. 31 to Nov. 29... hoping for Chrismas.

Keyless entry and LED headlamps / tail lamps are the biggest changes.
Sorry, no. The XLTs don't come with LED headlamps or push-button start. Remote start is an option on XLT.

I was wrong on the tail lamps, but the XL also gets part-LED taillamps.

You said "Keyless entry" which is also not true. It is standard on an XLT. Unless you're talking about something other than a "Remote Keyless Entry"

Remote start would have no impact on the Lariat as it is an option on the XLT.

Excuse me, if semantics are at issue, the Lariat trucks have "Intelligent Keyless Entry w/ push-button start." Whereby you can enter the truck with a passive RFID keyfob versus the regular "keyless" system that requires you press lock or unlock on the fob.

Further, I don't think users here have enough data to say whether remote start is the issue unless you can point to specific examples of XLTs with remote start that have shipped versus Lariats which have not shipped.

Two out of three things you first posted about were wrong. That's not semantics. Moreover, you said they were the biggest differences.

If you want to go into electronics that are actual things that might be a direct problem with chips.. That's another story. Back on topic...

I ordered my 2021 Lariat Tremor on June 10, 2021 from my dealer and picked it up on September 21, 2021. Here's a breakdown of the timeline:

Order Confirmed: 6/10/21
In production: 8/17/21
Built: 9/7/21
Shipped: (a couple of days after)
Took Delivery at Dealer: 9/21/21 (it was estimated to arrive on 10/1/21)

When I picked it up, the dealer told me production is about 6 months right now.

Please, illuminate the issue. I am not aware of any other special components.

The fog lights on the Lariats are LED versus XLT and XL?

Just checked the order tracker website today hoping MAYBE my estimated delivery date of 10/31/21 (mind you this got pushed back from 9/11/21 already) might have gotten bumped forward at all?!?!

nope… new estimated delivery date 11/30/21

I realize there is a chip shortage but 6 months for a truck is getting ridiculous. Seriously considering going to look at 22 Frontiers right now

My Bronco was reserved in July 2020, ordered January 2021.....now pushed to a MY22. I doubt I will have it by the end of next Summer....the waiting and let downs from FORD has been terrible. So I ordered a Tremor Ranger on 8-18. From others posting I figured I would get it around Thanksgiving. Now I hear of delays. I got a VIN# on 9-9 but not scheduled. They are scheduling this week for builds through Dec. 6th with maybe 2 more weeks of MY21 builds after that. If I don't get scheduled in the next 2 weeks...my guess my Ranger will be shoved to a MY22 also (with a MY price increase). A factory employee tells me right now they are building 8-10 Rangers for every 1 Bronco....I can only hope at this point.
