I'd say the truck, like other Rangers, took that hit well/did a good job letting you walk away with minor issues, but someone will get bent out of shape because the bed flexed a bit.
Well, the bed IS sitting too high....

Had summer Friday today. Ran down the street to Lowes to get a couple tools. On the way back stopping for a red light a box truck didn't see the light quick enough and back ended me.

I bet you are sore after that hit, it was more than just a fender bender. I hope you recover quickly and don't have any lasting effects. Take care of yourself.

I've seen a few of those trucks all balled up. Looks like dude never touched the brakes.
By the time he did it was too late. I tried to move out of the way once I realized he was going to hit me. These Rangers are quick, but not that quick.

Dave, so sorry this happened to you. Good thing is you're alright and you walked away from what could have been a real tragedy!

Glad your okay but you should have had stick on Ranger letters on the tailgate so he would have seen you sooner. And we haven't heard how the tailgate dampener is doing.

Make sure you leave medical open on the claim for awhile you never know how your body will react. How dd the damper hold up? You do have a damper don't you?
No damper on mine.

My insurance already contacted me yesterday after I filed the claim and went over all the stuff to watch for. Since this was a clear fault of the other driver everything is moving smooth and quick. I am doing well and have a couple of sore spots but nothing like you would expect looking at my truck.
