I always reuse the plugs. I just either use teflon tape or Permatex sealant. A single tube of Permatex will last you forever. Edit: I use a wire brush to clean the threads first.

Actually, when my daughter and son-in-law file their taxes and claim my Granddaughter and Grandson as dependents using the kids' SSN, the IRS rejects the return because my Granddaughter's SSN is shown as being used by someone else. Trying clear this up has be nearly a 1 and half year effort.
