Had summer Friday today. Ran down the street to Lowes to get a couple tools. On the way back stopping for a red light a box truck didn't see the light quick enough and back ended me.

I am okay. I little shaken and sore but lucky that is it. This truck really protected me. It even automatically called 911.

Darn this is starting to be a bad habit around here. I'm glad you're ok but the Ranger doesn't look good based on mine and Bretts recent accidents. These trucks to seem to protect everyone which is a good thing!

When I was looking there were several on the east coast and mid west. I looked on cars.com, Truecar and Cargurus. It doesn't hurt to start looking now and maybe secure one. Good luck!

Wow, glad you’re ok Dave. The box truck looks like it took a worse hit than the Ranger. It doesn’t look drivable.

I always thought that white was one of the best “safety” colors, meaning that it is highly visible and would be hard for other drivers not to see you, but I guess I was wrong. It does look like you’re gonna be getting a new Ranger though.

I was stopping for the red light and looked in the rear view and thought "oh shit, he can't stop". I nailed the gas to try to get out of the way. I think if I was completely stopped I would be in the hospital right now.
