The F150 has Kodiak brown and the Bronco and Ranger have Eruption green here.

It looks like up here in Canada, the only one of those three that we get is the Bronco in Eruption Green. Otherwise it only comes in black or four different shades of grey.

Bronco Sport also gets Eruption Green, as well as Cyber Orange and the usual selection of blue, red and greyscale. This gives it the most colour options of any of the Fords in Canada.

All pick-ups & vans only come in the various greyscale colours, red or blue. The sole exception is Maverick, adding in Cyber Orange

Edge & Explorer have a Forged Metallic Green option as well as the "usual suspects", but Expedition doesn't have red.

Even the Mustang, which you could kind of expect to have more choice as it's a "premium" vehicle only gets the "usual suspects".

It's not that I dislike any of those colours, but I do wish that we had a little more option across the board. I love my black, but I would have seriously considered the Eruption Green if it were an option for the Ranger up here.

Yeah Ford really needs some better color consultants! The new Ranger Raptor has Code Orange interior accents yet no option for that color (which really is kind of the Raptor signature color) on the exterior.

@navsnipe - glad you are OK! Very sorry about your truck. I hope insurance gives you enough for a Raptor deposit!
I should be hearing the insurance company's decision by Thursday. Copart is taking possession of the truck on Wednesday so I probably know what the answer is.

I liked my truck but had some unpleasant experiences with the driveline shudder/vibration and Ford's lack of a fix. Ultimately I fixed it with a one-piece driveshaft. I will probably not get another Ranger or Ford for that matter. Ford has a bit of work to do with quality control and customer satisfaction. That being said, I am curious if the 6G Ranger will have better QC.

This forum has to be one of the best automotive forums I have experienced. A lot of information and good people!

Had summer Friday today. Ran down the street to Lowes to get a couple tools. On the way back stopping for a red light a box truck didn't see the light quick enough and back ended me.

Glad you are ok! I have a theory on why they are hitting Rangers. If you had a tailgate damper, it is someone trying to destroy them. If you didn't have one, it is @AzScorpion targeting people without dampers!

It's not just Rangers that get hit. On March 21st my wife and I were heading to the waterfront for dinner in my 68 Barracuda. All of a sudden a kid in an F350 made a left turn into the quarter panel of my Cuda and opened it up like a Sardine can. The kid said he didn't see me, how can you not see a Sublime green car unless he was playing with his phone.

Anyway, a quarter panel, wheel well, gas cap, tail light housing and bumper latter it is better than it was.

One of the sexiest designs of all times after the E series Jag.
With that half inch of bondo gone it must feel lighter.
Need to find another distracted insured driver for the other quarter panel.

As much as folks poo poo using body filler the previous owner told me he had patched the quarters in the late 80s when I purchased the car in 97. So the fact that it was holding up just fine for over 30 years is a testament of how good the work was.

About 1/4" of the filler in contact with the sheet metal is metal-to-metal which is an aluminum filled epoxy material. This is what the factories use in place of lead these days. The remaining 1/8" is Bondo.

Anyway, I was thinking of doing the quarter and rocker on the passenger side this winter.
