I cannot say he was not overloaded, but I experience this issue with a few hundred lbs in the bed. I’ve checked the aim of the headlights unloaded and it’s fine and only seem to get flashed by oncoming low riders. With a few hundred lbs or more but still under max (loaded up to go tent camping)...
Yes, but only drove the truck a couple kilometres and then stopped and immediately tried to learn.
Maybe I need to put a little more distance in and then try the process.
I do have a Bluetooth OBD2 reader. I can check codes and reset with that. Maybe the programming tool is worth purchasing...
Swapped out my wheels/tires on Thursday. The winter set are on steel wheels off a Bronco and have working TPMS. The summer set is the factory Tremor set. This has gone smoothly every time before - twice a year.
The summer tires are not connecting to the TPMS it seems. And the truck thinks one...
I scored an amazing deal on Facebook Marketplace. I picked up a set of Bronco Black Diamond take-offs. Including a matching spare. 5 wheels with General Grabber 265/70/17 - all for $800CAD.
My 2021 Lariat Tremor has the same size shroud as shown in the non-Tremor. I believe those are the same.
The fuse/relay box for the upfitter switches is mounted to that metal bracket. If you remove the couple bolts - everything comes loose. I remember thinking the same thing - what must this be...
Thanks! I wondered how the bag was. I picked up a T4 Overland and a T4Plus Overland last year. This year we knew we wanted a better solution for setting up over the picnic table. I just received the G6 Cool Top and it is longer than the other two 😳. One more thing to throw on the rack.
nice bike! The 29” makes a big difference. I upgraded from a Gary Fisher full rigid that I purchased in 2000. The new bike is a X-caliber 8. It was 1 year old when I purchased it used. It took me a season to get the bike sorted. The drivetrain was a bear to get straight. Threw on new pedals...
I’d measure the length of the bike with the tire removed. My Trek is a large, with 29’s. It does not fit straight into the bed. You may have to go with the hitch mounted carrier. They can be spendy for a quality one, but they outperform the “budget friendly” options in almost every way.
Of...
The local wheel/tire shop managed to put scratches on every one of my wheels when swapping over to a winter set. The scratches were in the lug pockets. I took several pics and called them. They repainted all 4. Had them back about a week later.
had I not had one of the plastic bags they covered...
Have you replaced the truck battery yet? This issue seems to come up when the battery in the vehicle is needing replacement. Also read the auto start/stop may stop working as another indicator.
I switched to the Gorillas - black 3/4”. I only have them on in summer months and switch back to the OEM chrome ones when I put on the winter wheels/tires.
When doing the switchover this fall, I noticed rust on every lug nut. Gorilla only warrantees these for 1 year. I reached out to them...
That’s pretty good work. It’s nice to have skills that save money AND get you what you want.
If I tried that, it would look a lot like a tuna can being held in place by one small section, holding on for dear life.
