2021 order time frame?

If I remember your previous post you actually didn't order this truck. You are "buying" a truck that was already in transit so the 1K for custom orders would not apply.

We were talking yesterday how Dealer order (may) get pushed to the back. That's why this was a surprise.

Another new turn of events; Ford Customer Service will no longer field questions about the status of the order - they sent me to Marketing, who knew even less but kindly offered me incentives that expire in October...this after just telling me that best case scenario is end of November to receive the truck. They still won't/can't say what part(s) the Lariats need chips for that the XLT doesn't.

Care to share the details on the incentives they shared?

Bad news for those waiting on Lariats. They pushed all estimated delivery dates out another 30 days; mine changed from 10/31 to 11/30 this morning. Ford CS told me this morning there is no actual ETA on when whatever part(s) that are waiting on chips for Lariats will be in and the 30 move was simply because they know they almost certainly will be missing any October deliveries for Lariats. At this rate, I'm guessing I'll receive my 2021 ordered in May sometime in early 2022.

Ordered on 8-18-21. VIN issued on 9-9-21. Nothing after that. 2021 Lariat Tremor. I hope it does not turn into a 2022 model or a fiasco like the Bronco....I have been waiting on my bronco reservation and order now since July of 2020 and probably wont get it until then end of Summer 2022. THIS WAITING SUCKS. I ordered the Ranger because it appeared as though it would get produced this year....still hoping to get it by Christmas. Otherwise....Scrooge instead of Santa.???

don't know why I didn't think to post this but the dealer I got my XLT from actually got lariat tremor the same day as mine came in. So they are still delivering Tremors. Might give you some hope

I didn't even bother to ask - my mind went into WTF mode. He literally said "I can offer you some incentives...oh, never mind, they will expire before you take ownership of the truck"

Its not the Tremors that is the issue, its the Lariat. It does bother me immensely that the truck in your post is a Lariat, it was ordered after mine, it went into production after mine was already built and sitting in a lot in Michigan waiting for chip, and it is already on its way to the dealership.

I assumed it was the instrument cluster but another forum member pointed out the B&O stereo.

Keyless entry and LED headlamps / tail lamps are the biggest changes.

You won't be able to do any tracking until you get a VIN. That typically (in normal times) takes about a month or so. Now it is all over the place.

Keyless entry is on the XLT as well. Headlight/taillight possible for sure.

The XLT has those also. Not sure how that relates to the Lariat.
