So I was looking for a 4 link long travel for prerunning and found a 3 link that lowers the truck. Didn't think much of it until I stumbled upon this thread. If I was lowering I would get this. $2.5k

Unfortunately, $2500 is above my budget, plus the cost of the install. I can install a non-welding kit in my garage. Normal suspension work is no problem but I am not a welder.

I hope a lowering kit comes out before the Cybertruck. Love my Ranger, but can't stand the altitude, er, attitude. Hell, I'm getting older and don't want to have to climb into a truck!

Right on. If I am reading the Control Freak Suspension website correctly, it appears that it will take nearly $4,500 to lower both the front and rear and it will only work on 2WD Rangers. If this is indeed the case, hard pass. I continue to seek the elusive $1,000 or so solution that will give me 2-3" of drop in the front and 3-5" of drop in the rear, and that will work with 4WD Rangers.

Yup ... $4500.00 plus shop time and welding...
