received questionnaire from Ford about my Ranger. Stated I like the ride, looks, engine pep & my Rapid Red color. Didn't like the list of deleted items ie. bed hooks, engine cover even though there is TSB stating it needs one, crappy factory floor mats ( 0 coverage under gas pedal), no hood struts on newer models & Rangers not getting love like the 150s and Mavericks - treated like red headed step children - no offense to any red headed step children on the forum.

That’s what I was thinking Chris. Thanks.

Illegal weapons? On a Canadian? Makes no sense Chris - how could one of us even hold a weapon without having to put down one of our beers?
Last year I got pulled over in WV for speeding, and the Trooper didn't say a word about the "expired" tags. Mind you, he didn't see them either, since the tags on our commercial plates (which includes all pick-ups in ON) are on the front plate, and they approach from the rear.

I think that it would be more entertaining to try to explain one of the "blue" plates to a non-ON cop who pulls you over at night.

For those who aren't aware, in early-2020, the ON government introduced a new (passenger vehicle) licence plate, which was white lettering on blue background, instead of the blue-on-white that it replaced. By February, it was front-page news, because apparently they'd never consulted with the cops or done much testing, and....OOPS....it turns out that you can't actually see the lettering at night when it's lit up by headlights!

The government quickly went back to the old plates, and probably were privately grateful when COVID broke out a couple of weeks later, and took the spotlight away from this fiasco. Those with blue plates were asked to return them in exchange for an "upgraded" blue-on-white one (which look exactly the same as the old ones, to me, so don't ask what the "upgrade" is supposed to be), but since they remain "valid until further notice", as of last January, some 170K of the 193K "blues" issued are still on the road.

The great irony is that this provincial leader, who has a knack for screwing up things related to automobiles is named, Doug Ford. ???

My guess is that a large number of those blue plates are on cars that use the 407 Toll Route and the unreadable blue plate means the E-Z Pass transponder sits at home in the junk drawer.

Interesting pic: enough drain cleaner to eat a hole through drain tile and a floor jack...

My good deed of the day. Jumped out a car with some spare 14/2 Romex I had lying around. Will be adding a pair of jumper cables to the truck now.

You sure that is the way it was?
A Ford with known battery charging issues jump starting a near as perfect as man can design Toyota?

We are home from Michigan tending to our handicapped daughter for two weeks... Ranger sat for the entire time biding its time while the Nautilus sat at a hotel near the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

So we determined the necessary Beer, eggs & bacon were needed so fired up the read and waiting Ranger for a brief trip to Safeway a mile and half away... The Nautilus was quite tired having to fight with I10 eastbound traffic the majority of the trip from Phoenix to Green Valley...

Best,
Phil
