What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Nicely done with the MPH to match. Too bad it wasn't 33F outside.

I was curious how long it would take for someone to comment on that. I was thinking while looking at the temp to bad it's not 55,555 miles. Now I have to try getting the MPH and milage matched every 11111 miles until I get to 99999. Then it'll be 11112 miles, but at least I get to slow down, but I will not be able to set the cruise at 11 MPH and I doubt it'll set to 111 MPH.

I took it back to the dealer today for the SYNC 3.4.23188 update. According to the work order it was a "warranty" issue. I was expecting to have to pay for it.

Scooped some Coops!
The Kumhos were worn enough to where I didn't want to run them through winter, so I installed four Cooper Discoverer AT34S tires yesterday. Been eyeing these and others for awhile. My son put a second set on his Silverado last spring and he drives the same roads in the same weather as I do. He works third shift and is often on the roads long after rush hour when snowplowing is diminished, and says the Discoverers are the best winter tire he's had on any vehicle. He'll probably put them on DIL's Hyundai Palisade when the time comes. I didn't need anything real aggressive and I was able to use my Ford Pass points to offset $270 of the cost. Got a four wheel alignment, too.

I'm going to try to arrange the display for: 123,456 miles, 789 trip odometer and 10ºF. I might get impatient and try to do it at 123,456 km (76,212mi). 50,473 mi now.

Not sure where you are, or when you think you'll get to that milage, but 10ºC may be easier.

I'm in west central Wisconsin. 10ºF is no problem! If I try to do it in metric, I would wait until spring or fall; 10ºC= 50ºF. 123,456km (76,212mi) would probably happen about this time next year, and 10ºC/50ºF is about the average high here in thru mid-October.

Remind me to reset the trip odo to zero at 122,667km so I end up at 789km.
If I miss it, I could try for 234,567km on the main odo and 890 on the trip odo, and 1ºC on the temp. Then 345,678...

Drove to the Bill Hall Trailhead on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for a hike down to Deer Creek and Thunder River.

Drove down to Southern Indiana to deer camp and one of my buddies and I cleared trails and made some shooting lanes...but the 1st thing.i had to do within 5 minutes was pull his 4x4 Silverado out of a hole LOL, in defense of him, it had washed out in spring rains along a creek crossing and it was in high weeds, he didn't expect it so he didn't look first. I didn't have the heart to tell him that's the 3rd chevy of some sort I've pulled out. I drove up.the logging trail 50 yards or so at a time , cleared downed limbs and pruned trees and those evil briar patches then moved another 50 to 100 yds and did some more. Got alot accomplished in 4 hours. Also turned my stand in a better direction.

And my Ranger wasn't sitting on flat ground, that hill goes up all the way. My pacemaker was happy, I didn't have to climb it. But I still managed to get 1.81 miles of walking I

that is an awesome spot! I think i could stand and just take in the view all day long. i like that green too!

Mines still brand new, so starting small...

But the improvements have begun, the velossatech is on the way, wasn't impressed with the paper filter installing the AFE so going to drop a quality filter into the box also

Front windows tinted and clear bra on the hood and fender tips yesterday

Lots planned, have to work the OT to pay for it. I'm eyeing a Ford Performance Bumper for the front and an RSI cap for the back HARD ?

today the 4g and i got an invite to make a donation to the city and share our community spirit...
expired registration sticker. the cop was nice. i didnt complain as it was expired more than a year lol. so when he asked if knew why i was pulled over i said i sure do... normally i get things done on time but the past two years have been hectic so i missed the window of getting the sticker in the mail, so it requires a court house visit. court house is only open when im at work and i dont miss work.
