Drained and filled ULV fluid for the trans and changed spark plugs. 37k. Previously put on PPE trans pan and new filter and fluid at 15k. Shifts much better.
Put a leather cover on the steering wheel I bought from Texas Custom Interiors. Fit is ok, not as good as factory and probably would be better if I could have taken the rear plastic shroud off of the steering wheel, but that would require taking out the the airbag, which I am not doing.
Bilsteins for front and rear. Apparently the fronts require a lot of disassembly, so I’ll wait a bit for that. The rear OEMs were leaking and I could compress them easily with my two hands 😒
29,200 miles, opened the fill plug, siphoned out the old diff fluid, cleaned off the magnet and replaced with new fluid. Fairly easy, wish it had a drain but was easy enough to siphon out. Added the recommended amount per the Owner's Manual.
Required removal of a splash shield. And the angle is more favorable for a filter wrench from below, than from the side. Some oil spills on the crossmember, minor annoyance. Actually had cars that made a much bigger mess when removing the oil filter.
The dealer did this to me twice, I don't take it there anymore. I have to remove that plastic deflector off of the bottom of the filter location, that would give me room under there.
I pulled the clips on the upper and lower cowl cover and put in butyl tape, it's the light grayish tan stuff oozing out of the joint (circled). Hopefully that's sufficient to keep water from dripping on the engine.
