I was worried that a 2” lift and a 1” taller tire wouldn’t make a huge difference either. However when i did the install it was a huge difference. I now love the way my truck looks and honestly it looks better in person than in pics. I think if you go this route you will be pleasantly surprised.
Good to hear because I’m going with a similar setup!

Thanks!
I'm looking forward to my install later this week.

Lot of combos/numbers out there, was wondering if the 265/70r17 tire will fit on a 17x9 +20 offset wheel without lift or modifying crash bar on an FX4?
Welp, doesn't quite clear the front crash bar at full lock. Have Weathertech mud flaps and wouldn't clear those either. Guess i will sit on these till i get the Ford Perf lift kit.

Can we get specs on your wheels as well? That really makes a difference with the Lock-2-Lock rub.

They’re a 16x8 with 0 offset, with crash bars removed no rub

I've read through many threads and I'm 99% sure but I'd like to double check with you guys. I'm ordering Fuel Shok 17X9 +20 and 285-70-17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I know I'll need to modify the crash bars (aftermarket bolt-on ones are available, right?) but other than that I shouldn't run into any issues? I have a RC 2.5 level kit installed.

Didn't go as daring as others, but haven't seen anyone else with this size so thought I'd throw in for reference.

Old tires: Stock 255/70/R16 Bridgestone Duelers
New tires: 265/70/R16 Falken Wildpeaks (+0.5" same size as stock 17")

I dig the look more than I would have thought. Might not even upgrade to a 17" wheel, currently running the base level steel wheels rattlecanned matte black w/matte clearcoat.

You'll be good doing all that. I have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers but in the 265/70/17 with the RC 2.5" level and have no rubbing issues.

Don't see anything about this size, wanted to see if you agree that I could fit this. 2019 FX4 crew cab that I am supposed to pick up before the month is over. Was going to do the Procomp 2.25 level kit with new crash bars and looking at running a Toyo open country RT sized 295/55/20 on a 20x9 wheel. I can either do 1 or 19 offset. The dealership I am buying the truck from probably has 4 rangers on the lot with this lift kit on it with 285/55/20 and they say it is perfect. I am not sure what offset the wheels are on those trucks but was going to try to find out before I order anything. I was thinking I should be able to fit another 10mm. You agree or disagree? Which offset do you think would be better?
Thanks for any thoughts.

I have 285/55 with 20x9 ET18 and 3" level kit front. I tried it with wheel spacer 1.25" (=32mm = ET-14) and it was tooo close for me to the inner fender. And it would be closer with a 295/55. It could fit with ET between 5 and -5.

If I would had the chance I would go with 285/55 with 20x9 ET1.

Thanks for the reply. So you think I could do the 295/55 if I went with the et 1 offset. I did see someone running a 295/55, I need to message him and see what offset he was running.

Anyone tried a 265/75/16 or 275/70/16 if it rubs on stock suspension? I have a +20 offset 16" rim already

Anyone here try a 285/75/17 on aftermarket wheels? Looks like its 1" taller than a 265/70/17 and that tire on my 3" lift has plenty of room to spare.
