Well Antero is a big no now. We tried it and I started to slide backwards on a nice sheet of ice in the trail. Not worth the trouble to get past it.
Instead we took tin cup pass and it was a breeze. Slushy and snowy but really mild trail.
I’m actually headed out to the lower portions of Antero today. I would agree that it’s probably not a good idea to do a trail meet up on any of the the higher elevation trails till next year. Would still like to do something as a group this year though.
Sounds like Antero would be a good trip for everyone to go on in October? I’m going to check it out again this weekend and see if it’s something the guys with less mods can still do comfortably.
I plan to stay the night on the trail somewhere since it is a long drive. I suppose we should see who can go camping for the night vs trying to make it a day trip.
Those are all fun trials. I was thinking close to Mt. Antero if it’s not too busy. If not we can try this trail in Taylor Park. I ran half of it and it was pretty neat. Not too hard.
Awesome, glad to see more people interested. If anyone has asuggestion on a place they prefer that would be less busy and have room to camp that would be great.
I’ve covered most of the trails in the Sawatch Range and can suggest a few good ones in that region.
Glad to see everyone making their Diamondback covers unique to their needs. Still love mine after 2 years on the trials it’s held up without a single issue or degrade in quality.
Diamondback was able to use a few of my pictures on their site too which is awesome! Finally a Ranger on the site...
I’ve ran this a few times now in the Ranger and 4Runner. It’s pretty mild and wouldn’t be hard for anyone in stock or otherwise to do. Would be fine to get a group ride together for this trip.
If they list some part numbers on the invoice that would be great. Just trying to get an idea of what they consider the “Climate Control Module” since that would be comprised of either the entire air blend box including actuators or the hardware which controls those devices.
Thanks for the video!
After looking at mine last night I came to the same conclusion. It’s accessible enough to me that I’ll never ask the dealer to destroy my dash for free.
Currently it’s working after a key cycle but I’m sure it will act up soon. So now to find the part before they go out...
Well... I have the same issue going on now. Hot on the drivers side and adjustable on the passengers side. I've located the blend door actuator for the drivers side and it does move when changing between LO and HI temp settings but the temperature does not. I can hear a mild change in air...
Well I’m getting some replacements on the way. Absolutely astounded that the world has come to this level of insanity. I had wheel locks on the wheels and I live in a quiet new part of town.
