Not the best picture and its dirty but there they are 275/70/17 BFGs. On my 2WD with 3" Level from RangerLift. No spacers, no rubbing, no cutting and crash bars intact.

Yup, great fit and looks excellent! You’ll love the tires! Happy New Year!

Hoping someone can help confirm my thinking. I finally found a 16 x 7.5 rim with a good positive offset. Found one with +45mm. My truck is stock height, why trying to find something near stock offset of 55mm. I did one of the online calculators and rim should stick out only 4mm more then the stock 17X8 and tire will stick out 10mm more. As well I will have lots more room on the back since rim narrower. With this small of a difference does anyone agree I should be fine with a 31.7 to 32 inch tire and have no rubbing on intrusion bars? I already moved my intrusion bars up. Seems like only when getting to maybe 35 or below + offset it gets close to intrusion bars? Any ones input/experience would be greatly appreciated!

I think you’d be fine. Myself along with many others are running 265/70R17 (31.6”) on stock wheels without moving the crash bars and still have no running. If you’ve moved your bars then I’m sure there’s more than enough room for that extra 4mm!

Just thought I’d update... 265/70R17 on stock wheels with 1” spacers will fit at stock height with crash bars adjusted all the way forward.

Nice!, That should mean a 30+ offset rim should work as well

Yes sir! I haven't done anything too extreme but there was zero rubbing testing them out around town last night or on my drive to work this morning.

Wanting to run 17x9s with 0 offset, and 265/70 tires. I have a rc 2.5 level. Anyone running this set up? Will it rub?

Has anyone bought their tires from Amazon? What do you think of that idea? To risky?

After perusing the whole thread, I haven't found the exact combo I want to try. I think it will work, as some have installed a 275/70/17 with a 3" level. I'm interested in doing a 275/65//17 on a stock sport wheel except at stock ride height. The only issue I can see is that the sidewall will be very close to the knuckle, but I believe it will clear ok. If anyone has any input, let me know.

I went with 265/70/17 on the stock sport wheels and a 2.5" RC level and have no rubbing issues at all.

those are a little taller than i want to run, and not quite as wide. i want a 275/65/17

i prefer this tire as it's only 1" taller than the stock 255/65/17's, so it shouldn't have as much effect on the gearing as a 265/70/17. I like also the 275's as they're almost 1" wider than stock, however it appears the knuckle will be pretty close to the sidewall. no doubt they'll fit from a diameter reference...it's the width i'm concerned about as i want to keep the stock 17" sport wheels the same as yours....oh and my truck is a saber 4x4 sport also

A lot of good info in this thread! My Lariat came with the 18" alloys, but when I looked through all 8 pages... so far I didn't see anyone running lager tires with the 18's. Unless I missed it.

I plan on keeping the stock wheels and going a litter bigger on the tires.... Just wondering what fits with the stock ford 18's.

Thanks in advance.
