Putco makes a lower grill insert. I bought it for looks but it should block debris too. It catches a lot of bugs.
Here's that Putco grill that MountainGoat mentions.

https://www.putco.com/product/bumper-grille-inserts/v/Ford/Ranger/2022/

There's another brand too (MakeMyMountains or something similar). =D

The holes are big but it slows down the air making it more turbulent and should help reduce bent fins. They also have a model for you peeps with that fancy pants radar dealio. =p

Not exactly, on the lower part which is shown the intercooler is not shown. That is because the intercooler is not that low. Only the radiator and condenser go that low
I stand corrected. You are probably right about that. I didn't go out to the truck and look.

You could straighten those fins if you were so inclined. They make tools for that, (fin straightener / fin tool / fin comb) but the configuration of those fins makes me think the typical tools would do more damage than anything, becasue the "fins" are a ribbon that zigzags between the tubes. You could reach into each slot with some tweezers and do them one at a time if you have the time, but it looks very tedious. I would do that, but I'm not exactly sane.

Yea

Yea I had the code in for scan. Saw a thread on replacement. Looks easy enough if I need to do it.
Step 1: remove dashboard...
I had mine fixed under warranty. It actually is the whole plenum that warps and caused the blend doors to seize in place.

This is definitely one of the preferred methods I like to use to check the AC performance. To go with it Nissan has a simple test guide for AC performance and most vehicles pass it with flying colors!!

The test guide I speak of

You guys have 2019 model, notable due the defective/troublesome blend door warpage in that year's model.
My understanding was that the warping happened on the automatic climate control and not the base single zone version. Is that not the case? It does change vent position from head to defrost and to heat (not that it’s been needed here in Houston) just fine.

It’s currently 0116 here at 83F and 80% humidity in SE Houston. The humidity and temp is actually kinda low right now.

That's the intercooler, not the AC condenser.
THe AC condenser is sandwiched between the Radiator and the intercooler.
My first thought was this as well but when I saw some intercooler upgrades, most of them showed the part being installed behind the grill which is why I am thinking the condenser is low to the ground with a nice opening for debris to come through. Will probably get an aftermarket insert to prevent more damage in the future.

I’ve got a thermometer similar to that kicking around somewhere, I’ll try to locate it and see what temps it shows for my drive to work tomorrow night.

Same issue here. No way the air is as cold as it should be. My 02 Ranger and even my backhoe a/c temps are much colder. Blower stays on max output making so much cab noise it is quite annoying. Made an appointment at the dealer but it is 7 weeks out. I thought about having and Indy check it but this new freon type is much more expensive to have serviced. Fortunately it seems the hot weather has finally subsided. Other then that all is well so far. 8,000 miles on the OD.

The AC condenser is the lowest, just above the skid plate. First time I took the truck to a UTV course I hit the skid plate pretty good. Saved my AC condenser. Radiator and intercooler are above it behind the grill.

On another note of temp, took it down the street for an alignment, sucker was blowing cold! There's been a handful of times where it wasn't blowing cold like it should have.
