  1. How cold A/C?

As far as the 1234yf type refrigerant, it’s in a family members 2020 Denali and works too damn good in there. If I can get my AC to work half as well as that truck, I’ll be happy. Unless you select an auto setting, no weird changes when you set it and blows frigid air when it’s hotter and...
  2. Fan speed turning down on its own

Gotcha, and as for the PID reading, I seem to be the most inept person for trying to access that information. I have a Bluetooth OBD reader that can read that data, but I'm not sure how to select and view the right one. Due to the leak in the line, I do have an appointment set for Monday and...
  3. Anyone changed oil line filter to our little turbo's?

.......I was today years old when I learned that there is a filter on our turbos. I purchased my truck used, so I would like to change this out before something catastrophic goes wrong. Might do the lines like it was suggested in post #45
  4. Fan speed turning down on its own

This is the temp at idle when it’s 97°F out and thermometer is showing almost 80. Why test it in the shade? That’s the only part that makes no sense to me Edit to add: This is the thermometer that I use
  5. How cold A/C?

Thankfully, I still have the extended warranty! Guess I'll make an appointment for it
  6. Auto stop/start disable?

How does one change this setting? My battery is a year old but would like it to last as long as possible
  7. Trying to decide to sell - Input appreciated

Your 4th gear symptom was the first symptom for both of my transmission replacements. The first one was at 88k miles, and the second one was at 111k miles. Option C is probably the cheapest long-term, but know that both times for me, the extended warranty paid out over $7,000 each time. Edit to...
  8. Auto stop/start disable?

Me as well. For those who have a pc laptop and access to amazone to get the scan tool, itll cost less than $100 total and you wont ever have to look at the button again
  9. Auto stop/start disable?

As much fun as these trucks are in S mode, I am on my third transmission at 113k miles and don't want to go through two tanks of gas a week.
  10. How cold A/C?

I saw no blockages and added a can of Freon. One can brought down the temps considerably while at a stop. That pipe seems to be a little....oily. The first temp pic was when I was on my way to get a can of Freon, and the second was after adding it. I may actually be able to turn down the fan...
  11. Auto stop/start disable?

If I had known that I could disable it through Forscan, I would have gotten it as soon as I got the truck in July 2023 instead of this past march
  12. Auto stop/start disable?

Based on the notes that I made of the changes to my truck, it's under the body control module section
  13. Auto stop/start disable?

Yes, you can disable stop/start in FORScan. I'll have to hook mine back up to walk you through the process, but I disabled mine in Forscan when I adjusted my tire size
  14. Fan speed turning down on its own

Even with manual controls? My xlt has the base ac options and 4" radio screen. I did see a comment from Airline Tech in another post that suggests that I need to check my freon levels in my ride as my output temps are usually 75 degrees or so when its 90+ degrees outside
  15. How cold A/C?

This is good information as my output temp is nowhere near 60 degrees with the outside tempature being 100+
  16. Fan speed turning down on its own

Just scanned today, and no DTCs at this time I know how I must look smacking (slight exaggeration) the dash while going down the road, but so far it does not appear to make any changes while driving and tapping the dash. As far as I can tell. Air still blows cold, just reduces fan speed. No...
  17. Fan speed turning down on its own

Would these conditions still apply when it happens at a stoplight? The last couple of times on my way to work, I caught some of the red lights, and while waiting, the fan speed turned itself down. I have the stop/start disabled through forscan so its not that
  18. Fan speed turning down on its own

Blower speed is turning down. The recirc turning off I’ve only seen happen in the winter time and is another annoyance I have against ford as vehicles have had continuous recirculating air on for decades without issue for them to make this stuff up now.
  19. Fan speed turning down on its own

Sorry for being absent of late, I had a hernia repair surgery last Tuesday and haven’t really been driving much since. I’ve been paying attention to fan speed changes and it definitely only happens when I spin it to max ac because it’s 100+ degrees here. When it does reduce the fan speed, it...
  20. Fan speed turning down on its own

I’m not sure. I have manual controls, no auto anything. Today it did it once at a stop light when stopped. I didn’t see any loose connections Saturday when I went looking.
