Question: with a 1.2 Bilstein lift do you need to re-aim headlights?

You should definitely check them. You might not need to adjust them, but better safe than sorry. They're super easy to aim.

I’m at 1.2 and checked after install and didn’t feel it needed it. In 4 years I’ve never been flashed by an oncoming car, so it seems to be ok.

Simple answer is yes. Why? Because you changed the angle of your truck. Not hard to figure out

They are easy to adjust. You should have no issues.

I had to re aim mine after putting the bilsteins on the front.

I marked the garage door before install an set them back there. it took more turns than I expected.

I raised my front 2 inches with Bilstein, replaced the rear with Bilstein. I noticed the head lamps were out of position. The truck is almost level, but noticed the lamps were a bit high. I almost never drive at night, but I need to reposition the headlights to be correct.

I have aftermarket LED bulbs in mine so I'm careful about this(also have leveling kit). I know that there's proper height & distance you are supposed to adjust the beams at, but I go even lower. I drive around, find compact cars that sits lower & if I'm lighting up inside the cabin of those cars it's too high in my personal opinion.

It's been awhile, but I feel like this video did have one piece of incorrect information in it, like socket size was wrong, or he was saying the wrong way to turn the adjustment of something like that...

There's a procedure somewhere on here if you didn't mark a wall before hand. They may not even be correct from the factory. I think it's 20 or 40ft from a wall, measure to bottom of light, then set it to the same height on the wall. (something like that) I used the side of a parked tour bus. They were over 2" inches too high, IIRC.

At 1.2 inches the headlights were fine. But the alignment wasn't. Didn't realize it till too late. Cost me a set of tires.
