got some new shoes. The LT hancooks were finally done. 4 years and 43k miles. They had a bit more life but I got a good closeout on these tires. even ordered a 5th for a full size spare.
#pizza cutters. 255/75/17 on stock sport wheels. 5100s all around. 1.8 inch setting in the front and 1 inch...
btw I was not talking it that way so no hard feelings. Age I think is a factor and who and where your traveling with. All I know is my kids were not at n electronics till bed ❤️
the problem with trailer trailers is the quality of units these days and costs. It may look like a lot of stuff but setup is about an hour to hour and a half. Plus this allows us flexibility for camping in more remote places.
my version 2 camp tent trailer. Main additions is I painted all the raw steel including the diamond plate, and added a 20 gallon fresh water setup with 2 10 gallon RV water tanks made to function as one, RV water pump, and acculator for nice water pressure
about 16-17mpg in the city. freeway is better but I don't even look. I just keep it on the till empty display. I know it's not great so I just choose to accept it 😆
it's time for a spring and shock upgrade in the rear..Fords stock suspension is garbage other than the fox tremor spec. That's a lot of weight. I would prioritize a rear shock plus rear leaf spring upgrade and grab the matching fronts when funds allow
got to tow with the new trailer. super nice even without the brake controller. got a redac that won't integrate with Emergency braking system. That part was impossible to fine.
