With a level. They fit fine without the level kit with no rubbing.

Does the performance feel sluggish at all with the bigger tire? Love the way it looks but Ive got a tune and love how mine performs at the moment on stock

LT265/70/R17 General Grabber ATX E. You will notice a little bit of performance loss (I have no tune on mine yet because I need to find a pc, mac isnt compatible ?), but the tires ride fantastic and they are just as quiet as stock. They handle great as well.

Did they ride well without the level?

Cooper AT3 LT265/70r17 (6 ply) with Traxda 1” leveling kit, 1” FactionFab wheel spacers. Rides amazing, looks way better, zero rub of any kind. Small (if any) performance loss. Ford Performance pack tune/filter go in this week.

Thanks for sharing pics of the 1" wheel spacers on the hub. I wanted the look of 1" spacers (as opposed to the 1.5") but I could have sworn that I read that the 1" spacers don't work on the stock wheels since the lug studs slightly stick out and interfere with the mating surface on the wheel. I'm glad that it doesn't look to be so - at least with the sport wheels that I also have.

They work just fine. The OEM wheels have indentions on the hub area to clear the studs. ??

How has the Ford tuned Fox lift been working for you? I just ordered and am looking forward to getting it installed. I can't find many reviews on the Ford tuned version.

I have a friend at Ford Performance and he said that there is a huge difference in the shock valving between the normal Fox kit and Ford tuned kit. Not that Fox is bad - they definitely know what they're doing. But the Ford tuned version will be more familiar and the feel will be more in-line with other Ford products. That being said, I haven't tried both out so I can't say from experience. This is just what I have been told.

I just got mine installed a few days ago (I also put load E tires on so take that into account), but the Ford Performance Fox 2.0 kit is amazing. It’s a little more stiff than I thought it would be (not in a bad way), but the truck is much, much more planted now. It is very confidence inspiring and soaks up bumps with ease. I used to hit these bumps in a certain spot on the highway every morning on my way to work and the truck would get very unsettled and would get loose on me and it was not a very comfortable ride. That problem is completely gone now and I could not be happier with this suspension. 10/10 rating from me.

That's great to hear. Now I just need Levittown to ship it! ?

I was not looking for a large lift that requires replacing UCA's or other suspension parts on our new Ranger. My main goals for both on-road and off-road were to improve ride, handling, and level the front. I had my dealer install the Ford Fox 2.0 kit and Toyo O/C AT3 LT265/70-17 E-rated tires on my stock Sport wheels prior to delivery. Any problems are on them. We paid a little more purchasing the kit from our dealer parts guy. Ford/Fox kits were scarce at the time, our dealer had access to one, and they have treated us well since we first went there looking for a Ranger. They get our business. Also, resale is better on unused take-off stock tires and FX4 parts.

My stock Ranger suspension comparison experience is limited to several test drives at various dealers. One test drive Ranger did have the Ford Fox 2.0 kit installed, but with overinflated Toyo O/C AT2 285/70-17 tires and bad low speed driveline shutter. Not a great selling experience, but nice to compare rake vs level. Stock Rangers felt like they nose dived while entering streets and crossing intersections with rain gully's. Our Ford/Fox kit and Toyo LT tires removed the dive and nearly all body roll.

Stock nose-down rake may provide slightly better near visibility in front. Not a very noticeable difference with the level kit, visibility is still good and driving in a level seating position feels better.

For those living at lower elevations (I'm 6'2") the extra step up will be noticeable. I did not install side steps as didn't want that to think about while going over rocks. My wife does well using the passenger grab handle. I installed Bushwacker Trail Armor Rocker Panel & Door Sill Protectors with Husky X-Act floor liners. We can freely stomp and scuff with our muddy hiking boots while getting in/out without worrying about damage.

Both on-road and off-road, the ride and handling are perfect for our use. On narrow winding mountain roads, our Ranger is more like driving a sports car than a truck. Firm, planted, and predictable.

I do air down the tires on bad washboard, broken surfaces, and rocky trails/roads. This smooths the washboard ride and reduces the jolting where there are lots of rocks.

Hitting potholes or other road damage is more controlled. The extra weight of the LT tires does have a bit more thud.

I'm am 100% pleased with our Ford/Fox 2.0 level kit and Toyo tire upgrade. Our Ranger takes us where we like to go to . . . in comfort !
