I really need to get a bigger tire. 2" level and a stock tire, considering a 275-65-18. Might be my Christmas present to myself....

Here's a side by side photo of stock tires vs 265/70R17. It fills in that wheel gap so much better IMO.

Wow! You wouldn’t think it Would make much difference but it really does. The one on right looks perfect and it makes the stock look almost silly tbh.

When I bumped up to the size you are looking at they fit but there wasn’t much clearance. I added 1/4” spacers (which I’m selling under the marketplace) and I never had any issues with rubbing.

I want to upgrade my stock tires 255/65/17 and have the XLT 4X4 and have only done the 2inch front level kit. Is it best to do 255/70/17 or will the 265/70/17 work without any needed modifications? thanks for suggestions...the stock tires look so small....

A 265/70R17 works real well on the stock 17" wheel with a front 2" lift. No issues at all and plenty of clearance.

Is that the “Ford tuned” fox package from Ford Performance? Did It lift it at all? They are not super clear in description, but I’d assume so. Hard to tell in photo. I know it levels it.

Edit: In response to @Ranger_Rocks formatting fail..

2.0" front lift.

I have the original M-18000-R kit. This kit was updated recently to to M-18000-RA with new small hardware.

Finally got a new setup and went with the Hankook Dynapro AT2 In 265/70/17 and it looks so much better personally and rides great with the first 150 miles. Seems more stable than stock 255/65 and no road noise with these
