I thought the same but went with the 265/70/17 last week and have 250 miles on it already and NO ISSUES or rubbing at all...no changes needed...it works and looks great. I went with the Hankook Dynapro AT2 and they have a rebate and they are ride better than the stock tires.

I want to upgrade my stock tires 255/65/17 and have the XLT 4X4 and have only done the 2inch front level kit. Is it best to do 255/70/17 or will the 265/70/17 work without any needed modifications? thanks for suggestions...the stock tires look so small....
