With all respect to Doc, and his beautiful solution, we don't yet have anything thats both easy and works,. New leaf springs ain't it.

I might have to disagree with the latter 2/3's of that.

My solution was both pretty darn easy and works well.

Additionally, changing the rear leafs is likely the only "easy" path for the back end unless a massive drop is desired.

Has anyone checked into an air bag suspension? Can you get one that replaces the rear springs? Or, can you only get 'helper' kits?

So, am I interpreting the Control Freak Suspension website correctly? It's nearly $4,500 to lower both the front and rear and it only works on 2WD models? If so, hard pass.

I guess the market bears what the realistic demand is.

I suspect this is the same reason we don't see a readily available cost effective way to do the opposite and provide cars with 3" lifts. I can't even ever say I've seen a car with a lift. Ever. (I know they exists in small niches)

They make a lift kit for the Mazda Miata....saw it on Road Kill. Very simple bolt-on kit. I've seen plenty of "lifted" Caprice's....maybe it was just the 30" wheels.... ?‍♂

Honestly I don't even see a whole lot of "donks" now a days. They have all moved onto buying chargers, challengers, mustangs, and cameros with regular wheels. No M&M stickers or 30's or nothing.

Unfortunately they have also all discovered what muffler/cat deleting is.
