Its a small world. I live in your city. Did you work for PSC? How long have you been retired. I have a little knowledge of PS comms and equipment.

The reason gas goes into the oil is simple

An engineering marvel really
Since the engine is gdi, no injectors spray gas on the vavles to clean them. Well with turbo and all the vavles get a carbon buildup. So to help mitigate that, gas in the oil
As the oil makes its way to the intake, and over your vavles, the gasoline in the oil helps to clean the valves. Which is why 93 octane is recommended, to keep a high octane fuel cleaning the valves!

I love science!!!
