ok thank you dereku,i was just curious about it,i dont do it every time i drive, but every now and then ,especially during the hot summer time temps,it helps burn off whatever fuel is in the engine oil,and it does help
i think some of these guys thought i was revving high rpm after every stop lol
well on a 2024 the redline looks to be at 6500rpm,if ford didnt want the engine to go past 5500 rpm then the redline should be at 5500? that is where max hp or torque is i think?
maybe im wrong but i thought wherever the redline starts the brand of the automobile dont want you to go over that?
ok thanks everybody,i think i read that usually whatever the coolant temperature is the oil temperature should be about the same
i was just asking because i had a 2024 chevrolet colorado 2.7 that showed engine oil temperature
i go to town 3-4 times on the weekend,15-18 miles one way,i have 4481 miles on it right now, here lately ive been driving it in sport mode in town ,ive never got the rpm to 6000,i heard maybe driving it kinda hard will maybe help seat the rings?
