Also towing a 100miles could help... ASS may not work with lights on. Battery is likely not cooked but it's medium so to speak.. yeah run another long cycle recovery on your noco. Might need some TLC ... There is a ton of info on this site and there are tons of observations/opinions with BMS disconnect, desulferators, battery recovery and so forth. I have a 4.5y old battery and been through a few low voltage warnings. ASS was working on Tuesday when I last drove it. Tend to run the NOCO every three or four months. On average, it seems with this truck, not addressing battery issues you replace battery every three years or so... Addressing battery issues and tradeoffs like disconnecting the BMS or not to extend battery life at the loss of ASS/gas mileage and performance might get you to 5y. Trucks haven't been around long enough to know if an onboarding desulferator with a disconnected BMS will result in a longer battery life expectancy...it really comes down to how often you want to swap out your batteries the BMS sensor naturally degrades battery lifespan unless you take action to protect the battery from Fords battery management logic

Like dtech said, I would run the repair mode more times. I agree on spending more on tools but I caved and got a reasonable priced Topdon BT-100 battery tester for about 60 bucks.
Have ran repair mode again and ASS seems to be playing ball!
I’ll also keep an eye out for a topdon tester on eBay.

I Really appreciate the help from all y’all.

Glad to hear you are making progress. I'm kind of amazed the repair mode works.

2019 Lariat. 5 year old oem battery next month (July)

Received my BT-100 yesterday. $29.99 ebay.

Truck has been hooked up to my Battery Tender Plus almost religiously 24/7 since I purchased it July 2019. It was off the charger for almost a day and I hooked it up late last night. This was my results after checking it this morning.. Not bad and very pleased for a 92% charge and 5 years old.. Nothing disconnected.

Wish my tools were that organized ?
Mine are just thrown in a toolbox or cardboard box ?? and I play hell trying to find a tool. Sometimes I get so frustrated that I can't find it that I just throw up my arms and go buy it again.

Then I find it ????????

Great numbers Tony.
Thanks, Steve. Interested in seeing what they are going to be at 100%. Thanks for bringing up this Bt-100. Definitely a fun toy and better than a Multimeter.

How is a "TOPDON" (sounds like a XX film title) test conducted - is it just a momentary hookup to the battery to conduct the test or do you leave it hooked up for a longer period ? These type of testers calculate off of the IR reading - which tends to decrease over a few minutes even under a small load , your SOC reading at 12.6 should indicate a less than 100% charge, it's possible your battery may be healthier than the "DON" is telling you just as I'm skeptical at some posts indicating their CCA level after 4 yrs is significantly above the mfg CCA rating - these testers always aren't known for great accuracy. But you need to run the repair mode for several days and see what results you get.
