Just be careful as you go along. The clear coat is so thin on these trucks you can easily polish through it.

Good deal. I think you’ll be happy with the results. I purchased the smaller kit and have so much left over, yours should last a long time. Just remember to give both bottles a shake ever so often.

Just a small chip but I had great success with Dr.Colorchip. Color match is perfect, easy to use and you can gradually build it up if you need to.

Bought mine brand new 34 years ago. Had to order this one to in 1987 and waited 3 months for it. Some things never change!. All original paint except hood and wing (boxed up). All original parts saved including maintenance items. Lot of great memories every-time I get into it. So she’s a keeper...

Hey Dave. I got the lead today and did the install, also went and grounded to the chassis.. 7ft lead was plenty to pop out the drivers side, I had a little over a foot left. Thanks for the great idea, help and pictures.. Same goes for @RANGERPRIDE, @Trigganometry and the OP for starting this thread!

Hey Dave, yeah I went out after I ordered the lead and realized it wouldn’t be long enough, my 2ft barely makes it past the bottom of the battery. I was able to cancel it and went with a 7ft. Also I’m having mine exit out the drivers side so it sbould be plenty. Thanks for the help and thank you...
